Exotic pets

I have a Delhezi Bichir:

Polypterids can be traced back 96 million years in the fossil record, and are one of the most primitive ray-finned fish that are still around today. They have an adapted lung instead of a swim bladder, so if I didn't have air at the top of my tank, my fish would actually drown. This one's from the Congo River, but there are other species in the Nile basin.
 
Yeah, I hear ya. I don't do it very often, but if I don't drop the rat, the python isn't going to wait for me to do it. He'll snatch it up suuuuper quick.

I love the chases, but mine doesn't even chase. He just waits for it to walk within striking distance and it's over. Rats never last more than 20 seconds before they get snatched up.

BTW - what kind of snake is that?
 
Bengals are bred from asian leopard cats. Savannah cats are domestics bred from the Serval--which is what you're referring to when you say "cat from Africa"--

I have had quite a few bengals, but the only one I have now is my OG, Kenai-- the first bengal we bought-- he is now 15 years old and he has always been massive! 26 pounds at his heaviest but averages about 20. That's cool you were able to rescue one.
 
Yea... I'm planning on mutating a marmoset monkey so he is forever tiny and can hold onto my finger.. Then I will train him to kill small animals and season and cook them to perfection
 
Aren't there little finger monkeys that stay that small? I thought I saw a picture of some recently grasping fingers.
 
First pic is wrong a male tiger and a lioness would make a Tiglon.

A liger is a hybrid cross between a male lion and a tigress.

Subtle but important difference.

A toucan. Or had very expensive to keep. A lot for food and upkeep. sold him to a breader for 1500 though. I miss Zazu (yes like the lion king very smart).
 
exotic animals kept in captivity for the expressed purpose of being pets is so sad. These animals were not made to be kept in cages or handled by humans. It is prison. Humans try to attribute emotions to them and say they make great pets. They have wild instincts and they should be expected to act unpredictable. I have no sympothy for people would keep these animals that get bit killed or disfigured. What is truly tradgic is the killing of all of the lions, tigers, cougars, panthers in ohio last year. Cant stand that those animals have to be killed bc some dumb redneck with a screw loose has to go off the deep end. They arent good pets they are fucking wild animals. Let them be wild animals. domesticated animals are not the same thing.
