so my ex boyfriend just told me that he is still in love with me. ive been over him for about... 5 months. what do i say? we're really good friends so its really weird. what do i say so that i dont hurt him? im sorta freaked out. so for this, i ask for the help of my fellow NS members. thanks!
 
dude its like impossible to win in that situation, i cant think of any good ways to deal with it
 
be like "dude, you had your chance and I'm sorry, but I don't feel the same way" It's gona hurt, but it needs to be said.
 
yeah i once was still in love with a girl after we broke up.. and she told me she didnt feel the same way... and it broke my heart, but i realize she had to say it because i wouldnt have wanted to start up again if she didnt really want it, and he will understand even if he seems pissed off at you for a while.
 
You NEED to say it, unless you want him to keep loving you and creeping you out. It WILL get worse if you don't deal with it now, and do it bluntly. Sorry to say it, but something needs to be done.

thanks for the help. i know that i really do need to talk to him, but i just keep on putting it off. for some reason i feel like if i tell him i have crabs then not only will he not like me, but nobody else will either

cuz i pulled that on my ex who literally showed up in montreal on my door step one night (he lives in calgary) and told me he is in love with me and would do anything to have me again. i said that to him and he got the point...at least for that night anyway..even though actually..come to think of it he said the same thing like three days ago...

but i think my ex is special by special i mean crazy.

if u broke up with him u just explain to him u guys broke up for a reason and it isnt going to work and that you have built this solid friendship and you're happy now.
