Evolution Query

Some crazy kids decided to make some skis with two tips (ski boards) then some crazier kids decided to make a full length ski with two tips (skis we ride today)
 
Jp, Mike, and Vinnie, and a bunch of other guys on the canadian freestyle team decided they would rather ski in the snowboard park, and ski the pipe, and powder, and just have fun instead of ski bumps. they called themselves the new canadian air force, ironically they actually manage to stay in the air longer than most helicopters in the canadian military.

the new canadian air force started to push the sport and make up new tricks, they designed a full lenght ski with tips on each end, no companies would make it other than salomon, then salomon released the 1080, and the rest is history.
 
why is everyone making shit up??? she wanted to know for a school paper, meaning she needs true facts. they call Mike Douglas and JP Auclair the godfathers of newschool because they are the ones who invented it, like i said earlier.
 
eric pollard decided he wanted to ski like snowboarders so he bent the tips on his skis up thus creating the twin tip. he was the only person with good style in the first few years then in about the year of Session 1242 people tried to be as stylie as him but couldn't do it. so its pretty much all on pollard
 
I saw this 'making of' video for an old james bond video with a skiing sequence. The cameraman had twintips he made for himself just for filming. There was a shot of him skiing switch and filming, and it filled me with glee.

i don't think she wants the name of the first ski created or who skied switch. Its what happened to evolve our sport into waht it is today. So tahts why i say Pollard, cause even waaay back in the day he had WIDE stance and held sick GRABS and slid railz with gorrila while everyone else had their hands all up and flailing and doing shitty backflips and such
 
yeah dude, pollard has had the same style for so long now, but its sooo sick and crazy smooth, but in terms of the beggining of newschool, it was definately the new canadian air force that started the revolution.
 
Well heres how it all went down.

It was the summer on the year 1975 and there was this new drug on the market. It was called acid. So the kids like you and I back then dropped it down their throat holes. Thats where we get the ski with two tips idea. I personally didn't give birth to Jonny Mosley but they keep trying to give me credit for it. I knew a guy who saw him eat an entire pie on time. He's crazy, were all crazy and I need to change my underpants.
