Evo VIII or WRX STi

STi fo show. Evo's are pretty dope, but they are super uncomfortable. Unfortunately, they are both way too much money.

Subaru thread, eh? Uh-oh. Sean's here now! Motha fucking scoobies will kick any cars ass. Although personally I'm not a huge fan of the new STI, it's better then the last rex, and WAAAAY better than any mitsubishi. I'd go with an older WRX like a version 5 or 6 STI. Those were still GC8's. DIdn't have th bug eye lights and shit. The new ones are a slight improvemtn. But I don't like the hood. GC8 represent biatch!

Ive got an idea, You could buy a Honda Civic DX and tear the exhaust off and TELL everyone you have a good car, when in reality you're pushing like 70whp and your top speed is like 90mph. :-)

Seriously, I'd go for the Suby, I've heard better things about the WRX than the Evo, the WRX has a much better body style IMO... Plus, the only Mitsu I, personally, would ever drive, would be an old Starion.

the new sti is pushing true 300hp. the evo 8 is pushing 271. sooo, i'm going to go with the scooby on this one. even though rumors are they will retail around 40,000 bucks...

I'm going with the subaru, you can even change how much power goes to the front and rear wheels which is badass the new STi will be badass cause i know from experience that the old WRX was the shit.

North America is getting the Evo 8, not the EVO VIII. Its toned down from the j-spec model (as always) the Scoobie has a better AWD system and its got more power, I'm not sure how much they weigh, but the Mitsu could be faster if its lighter...

Yeah in Japan they actually write it VIII, but so everybody knows the world car will be different its 8. Which is gay cuz I think the Evo X would be badass.

Retail on the WRX STi is around $34k. That is way fucking cheaper than any sports car that performs close to that. Base reatil on the WRX is $24k. The STi is supposed to kick ass, not like the regular WRX is slow :)

You are checking the old sti... which isn't available in North America yet... it only had 260 hp or something...

I'd also go for the WRX STI... cuz the Evo VIII is a toned down version... only a five speed and other bad shit.

thw WRX not only has a better engine, and is more reliable, its supension is state of the art, the only bad thing i can say is that now it looks kinda ugly

the mitsu had the driver controlled drive train thing. BUT, the spot that it is supposed to be in is where the catalytic converter is in the u.s. damn. but ya, the scooby is waay better. and they changed the name to evo 8 because 'that way when we get to evo 14, there aren't alot of numerals to put on.'

don't forget actual street legal mitsubishs suck ass in rallies, but there team cars and drivers are among the best in the world

true petek. but, look at what happened to mitsubishi in the world rally this last season. with their old version, they weren't that great (granted they don't have the most talented lineup), but when they introduced the new age wrc car middle of last season, it was (and i quote from the drivers) 'too heavy'. they had a problem on every rally with the turbo or something in the engine. and, having mcrae go for the superman distance record and smash up the car doesn't help, but mitsubishi needs to look at the winning cars. they are lighter and quicker. not as bulky. but, subaru isn't having the best of luck either. they are more on the bad luck side of drivers, last year there were a bunch of dnf's due to driver error. Makkinen's crash in i believe africa? i can't remember, but when he was full out a few kilo's before the finish. that was an awesome crash. but this years subaru's are supposed to be very improved, air intake in a different place, cockpit air in the front bumper instead of on top the car, etc. so, hopefully we will see subaru back on top this year. as for mitsubishi, i think they have a stronger american rally program than a world rally.
