you need to talk about Hood River. one of my favorite towns ever; SO much to do if you're even mildly interested in the outdoors.
 
this, i live about 2 hours away (sandy) and theres so much to do. board, bike (especially this with post canyon and such), swim and kiteboard.

I seriously almost wreck my car every time I drive through there turning my head watching those bastards just launchhhh on the windy days.
 
Dope! Me and some buddies are gona try and come down for a 2 week period or so and ski/camp/have fun.

If any newschoolers are down there it be sweet to meet up and shred. Gona be mid june to early july probably.
 
Its so fucking sick, theres a spot by the bridge where there is a bunch of rails and jumps set up in a shallow part of the river for the kiteboarders/windsurfers. I took my gopro and swam out there, crazy shit.
 
Me and 3 fellow nsers will be road trippin out there. Leaving July 20th. You might still be there
 
Weeerrdd dude! we are pretty much playing it by ear, for weather, when we get off work etc.

i suggest sooner rather than later....park is usually prime last weekend of May-mid/latish June.

plus spring passes are valid through May 28th (unlimited skiing now until then for $110) plus they've been extended the past few seasons.

oh and a spring pass gets you 50% off a day pass once during the summer.
 
Ohhh thats good to know, may is tough for me though. Job likes me to be there.

I might try swing going before or after sasquatch.

We shall see, still got some winter left.
 
Get to timberline now. It is fuckin dope. Conways medium park is so sick and smooth with a four jump like last jump pretty dope and then they just built up paintbrush there fattier park with two kickers and a fat rail line all the way down. SHIT IS PAPPIN.
 
Leaving PC April 16 and plan on shredding til May 28 or when my money runs out (whichever comes first). If anyone is interested in going in on a spot short-term (6wks) or has a room in the pdx/hood river/sandy/govy area, hit me up! Be 420/party-friendly and down for the cause :)
 
Mt Hood is one of my favorite places on earth. See you in July for summer shredd! How's the snow depth this year anyway?? Are you lacking in snow like so much of the country?
 
Mary, We are actually above our average snowfall! Timberline has almost 400" and there is more coming. Winter is finally here!
 
Depends.... technically its a private park, so no you can't go in it. But I've heard it super easy to just take a few laps through it, if you get caught the worst they can do to you is just tell you to leave.
 
You will not be able to ride Windells park at all unless you are a camper or purchase a park access only package. This year we are going to have an employee monitoring everyone who comes into our park at the top. You will be turned away if you do not have a Windells lift ticket, park pass, and Windells bracelet.
