Haha Thanks man +k. I noticed that the Orage photo makes the Jacket look pale green. It is really bright green in real life i will try to get a better photo up in a min.
 
i wouldnt recommend it. anything that will bond with the plastic could weaken it. i dont know for sure but i wouldnt
 
don't be a dumb ass. this is a brain bucket we're talking about here. might as well just dye the foam black and wear it on your head if you don't care about the plastic weakening.
 
alright i have an offer for 40 shipped on the scott fix and i wpuld suggest if you want a black helmet you buy it black because dying it could affect the integrity of the helmet in some way. so better to play it safe
 
everyone who says painting you helmet is bad is quite incorrect. Just spray paint that bitch and coat in clear waterproof spray, it doesnt weaken the helmet...
 
I painted my helmet black... haven't ever had any problems with it, and it doesn't rub/chip off either... looks badass...
 
Alright well the only reason I say I don't recommend painting your helmet is due to the fact I work in the construction industry and if you paint your PLASTIC hard hat in anyway it is considered defective by the manufacture and OSHA (safety enforcers) can kick you off the job site for it. They say it can weaken the overall integrity of the hard hat. That's where I'm coming from.

Bump for a sick helmet and knowledgeable reply!

When I used to ski race I painted my helmet "gunmetal grey" and it looked sick. At my first F.I.S. event they told me I needed a new helmet because it no longer conformed. Lame, but they did have a point, even though my story probably doesn't apply to anyone here...Anyways, GLWS!
