Because caring about a sick line makes me feel a hell of a lot better than caring about shit(like the government and the world and hunger and other shit) that just makes me feel depressed all the time. The memory of it is what makes me want to talk about it until i do it again.

because ultimately it is my unattainable dream that keeps me longing for more. i always dream of the chance to one day ski that gnarly big mountain line, or to stomp that impossible competition trick, or to even own that pro setup. those things will likely never happen, but entertaining those ideals while i complete everyday tasks keeps me sane.
