Everybody's Skis Update

First off I apologize to all of you for this delay. It is affecting us all. The factory released a round of skis that had some bad cores in them. We ripped out bindings and snapped almost every pair. The factory apparently made some major mistake. We have since fixed the mistake, and upgraded the ski a bit last minute.

There is now some extra material to help keep the bindings in and doesnt affect the sick flex we get with carbon fiber.

In order to meet the quality standards we know you demand, we had to delay production slightly. The issue has been resolved and we should be getting the skis in by Thanksgiving or so.

Again, we apologize, but we were not going to send you skis that didnt not meet the quality you expect from Liberty.

I'll keep you updated.

Some of use have recieved emails stating that last years skis will be issued. Are these skis going to be what we are riding all year or just a substitute untile the new skis are shipped out? Again this is just a question.

i havnt gotten an e-mail about it. but yeah. i understand that they dont want us riding a crappy pair of skis that will snap on us...

sweet^ post up some pics, and also if you guys have a ton of left over skis oyu could do some reely cool photoshoot, i dont know what but if you have a ton of skis you dont need im sure you could do something cool with them

thats really infortunate about the skis....but in a brighter note....evolution freeride shop in killington vt will be carrying liberties hopefully this year....im gonna ride for the shop so i stopped in and saw a pair of seniors on the rack....and the owner thinks the company is sweet....so its good to get some more retailers out there

I gave the new york rep infos about Killy, so the rep went there 2 weeks ago, they are supposed to order a few pairs this winter.

the more shops you get to order skis the better! Keep good conversation with the shop people about the product, get them stoked.

yea i stopped into the shop yesterday and got the guy all stoked about em....he wants to carry all the pro twins this winter...so thats good news

as Julien said,'they are getting a big amounth this week'... so that was posted on sunday?? so that means they hopefully sent them out monday as well. so we can 'hopefully' be expecting them today or tomorrow or friday... i hope its today

so what's the deal? i went skiing at whistler and came back and there was no special package waiting for me. spent a bunch on demos too. i need them!!!! sorry if someone thinks i'm complaining, i'm just getting impatient.

We are commited to give you som good skis. If you would have gotten your skis earlier, they would broken right now, and you may not be able to ski today because you`d have break something on your body.

no need to be an asshole about it, i know where all these kids are coming from, im on the pro team and live an hour and half from the factory, and i dont have skis either, mine should be here thursday, but its january, we all desearve to be frustrated. This is a great place to be able to vent both good and bad feelings for liberty, if you want these forums to remain an honest place for the riders to give imput, then let them do just that

I agree its a good place to say both good and bad things to get the honnest feel of what is happening out there. But we know everyone want skis, and as you know, if we had a date, we would give it, but we dont really know, as skis are getting in by small batch.

i know that everyone is doing what they can, everyone at liberty loves to ski and wants the skis as much as the riders, and i'd hope all the riders know that, but i wouldnt want anyone to feel like they couldnt have an opinion on this. There are no bad guys here, i know that, and all the other riders should know that as well

 
its just weird ya know... like people are riding the new liberty pro skis on the hill and then they see us and ask us why we arnt riding the new skis yet? i dont have an answer to give them..

everyone keeps asking when they're coming, all my friends want to check them out, they're super interested. now a few of them have told me they dont think they're coming at all. i don't know what to answer. probably a lot of you are in the same situation. so frustrating, especially without a date, but all we can do is wait, right? sucks though, I've already had 35 days on snow on my old skis.

The answer is quite simple, we are a small company, and dont produce 200 pairs a day, we cant supply like salomon could supply.

skibunnie i fell where your coming from, my dad didnt even believe liberty skis existeed because they never came (but then i showed him goerges pair at d-camp, but he is still skeptical)
