So before the Olympics all the girls at my school couldn't name one pro snowboarder or skier. Now after Mcmorris has appeared in the Olympics every girl is crazy for him! "For how good of a snowboarder he is?" no, Just because they think he's hot.

Guys are actually less vocal about girls they think are hot though. I constantly see girls tweeting about those perfect guy relationships they want, actors they love, guys who could have their babies etc...

Dudes do it too sure, but take a look at Beleibers or 1 direction fan girls, shit is insane they sell their souls to a dude they've never met

Sure girls can get a bit more obsessive over a dude, but there are guys like that too (fucking dweebs though, like that guy that asked Miley Cyrus to prom). But to the average male 95% of girls with a decent body and without any major deformation are attractive. The average chick doesn't really think that way and generally has a much smaller pool of people they find attractive so they make a big deal about it I guess
