did anyone used to snowboard? and they quit to take up freeriding?

i have...cause i saw this lame sticker that said 'i dont know anyone that used to snowboard, but lots of people used to ski' or something like that, i was probably wasted when i read it...or mabye it even came to me in a dream...soo tell me...who used to board, or still does on the side?

 
I quit snowboarding to take up newschool...I skied before i boarded, but then i started getting into newschool and quit boarding to ski. I'm glad i quit snowboarding too, skiing is way better

i snowboarded 3 times one year, then the next i skied 2 times, then the next i skied 6 times and started skiboarding for about 6 times, then the next year i skiboarded 10 times. Then i saw moseley on the olympics and even though i didnt really know how to ski i was jumping off of stair cases doing 3 mutes and i rented every warren miller movie i could find at blockbuster. I guess i just got addicted to it without even ever doing it. well then after that i skied a whole season about 60 days. and this year was the conclusion of my second year skiing.

just to tell every one... I was talking to my freind who is a racer and she said that he was like a wicked racer and u are sponcered be volki, just to let u every one no how sick he is....

 
i used to snowboard and ski, i have won 9 comps on a snowboard but i hate all the kids. the 'new thing' i was doing got old so i tried new school this is my first year of new school i also used to mogul ski and race

I didn't really care if the sport was 'going' anywhere or not, I just loved doing it and getting better. It didn't make sense to quit and start at ground zero with boarding.

i skied all my life, but tried snowboarding in the middle...and almost quit skiing, then i realized how cool skiing was and totally quit snowboarding

I snowboarded for 2hrs then went and got my skis and havn't looked back yet

pro's arn't just normal people. they are robots made by the ski companies
 
i used to race and i used to do bumbs and i snowboarded for half a season.. um. i have quit many school teams for skiing. i almost quit ridding for skiing. and it looks like in a year i will be. because im moving west for skiing/school. and i cant really afford to bring the horse with me.

i skied regualr, quit, snowboarded four times, skied, skiboarded, and finally i am skiing agian.

I snowbladed for the last two years except this year that i started newschool. Wish i wouldn't have wasted 2 years on snowblades though cause i would probably be a whole lot better at newschool. I couldnt decide what to do this year until i found a nice pair of salomons and bought em, then read skier magazine, and i was pretty sure of what i wanted to do after that.

i started out as a racer, then went to snowboarding, then started snowlerblading and now im finally back on skis. i still race sort of, if you count skierx as racing.

yup, im a pretty well rounded guy!

I tried snowboarding once... it was fun but I've been skiing since a little kid so I thought maybe it's more fun to learn to stick some nice tricks with skis than to be an average snowboarder...
