ha, yeah i totally noticed this in Miami a few years ago. They had bottles of Evian water in the bathroom of our room that could buy for a measley EIGHT FUCKING DOLLARS! Saw the price, saw the name in the mirror, and chuckled....

You're paying 1000's of times more money for water than you are when you get it out of the tap which has higher safety standards
There are over a Billion people in this world who don't have access to safe drinking water, and 2 billion without toilets.
The amount of money spent on bottled water every year (mostly by people who have access to tap water) is enough to build the infrastructure to provide clean water to everybody in the world.
But in our capitalist system, water, like food is now a commodity, and only goes to those who can afford it.
