any one ever make ur own piece...i have bakable clay and have sculpted out a bowl and a straight pipe now do i need to put sumting to keep it open or will it bake fine?

hah, im too cheap to buy a real pipe or bong. i have made almost everything i have smoked out of. but im too lazy to make a good one especially out of clay. i just make them out of pvc,screens, pens, soda cans, whatever. but that sounds pretty cool. i want to take ceramics/pottery next year at school and sneak something into the fire. what are you using for a screen?

I've made many in my metal shop class, some sherlocke pipes, that were all curvy, completley covered in melted brass, all polished to a good shine. It was dope, i sold a couple straight pieces to some dumb kids, made like 20 bucks in about an hour of work so meh

the bong i use every time i made out of a medicine bottle, a high lighter, a pen, and a steel salt shaker cap. just make sure the metal you use is not aluminum.

I must find the perfect spoon.

bakeable clay is most of the time a cover word for Fimo. you can bake it and it hardens, but the plastic or rubber compounds used in the clay are still there. when you smoke out of it, you inhale the fumes. it makes it taste sour and im sure its bad for the lungs. but it tastes to weird and sour!!!

if youre using clay that just h appens to be bakable, not Fimo, i believe there are still the plastic./rubber particles in it to make it bakable, but i could be wrong.

either way, you dont need anything to keep the pipe open when you bake it.

i've made a few in my ceramics class at school, just gotta wait to drill them til after you take them out of school. if you're talking about "baking" the clay at home, then i don't know how safe it is. if you use actualy wheel clay that you bisk fire and glaze and then glaze fire you will be 100%safe.

i just took a wooden vase from my dinning room, cut a small hole on the side, and another one for the carb, then i got this L shaped brass pipe at the hardware store, a funnel/bell shaped metal stainless steel thing, a mini screen, and put it all together. Its pretty sweet

damn kids and their sketchy metal pipes... those are for crack. Anyways, just fucking go out and buy some papers, pimp smoke it. or else find and apple and make one out of it, it's much more enjoyable and tasty and clean, and you have munchies for when your done. Me and my friend once got pulled over while smoking out of an apple, all we had was the apple and the bowl packed in it (half smoked by then) but nothing else so my friend just took a large bite and ate the bowl outta there, cop had no fucking idea.

I would not smoke out of anything made of fimo (bakable clay), copper, aluminum, galvanized anything or PVC. All of them can release highly potent carcinogenics (cancer causers) when exposed to heat. Just go out a buy a piece for like 5 bucks (usually the cheap ones are wood, stainless steel (sometimes wraped in fimo which is perfectly safe because the fimo is decoration, not functionally part of the pipe) and stone. There is a ton of info out there on the net about making pipes, bongs and various other smoking devices and specifically which materials to avoid using and why. I'd highly recomend looking some of it up before aking a peice.

this stuff isnt fimo, i made the smoking hole small enough to not have a screen and i want to stay away from metal pipes cuz they have an off taste so im gonna make it sumtime this weekend and ill tell u how it goes

This is one of the most uninformed statements I have ever read/heard on weed and paraphenalia.

When comparing Tobacco to Marijuana, you have keep in mind that the main carcinogens in a cig are from the spiking agents (this is also what keeps it smoldering). There are VERY few cig manufacturers that do not spike their tobacco. Furthermore, Marijuana does not contain more directly carcinogenic chemicals. It does however contain dramatically higher levels of tar when it is burned/smoked. It is believed (although no direct medical studies have ever proven it definative) that build up of the tar from Marijuana in the lungs can cause cancer, as it is adding a foreign matter into your lungs/bloodstream.

Furthermore, to point out the carginogenic properties of the materials being used to smoke it IS important. While Tobacco is, and some people believe Marijuana is, carginogenic (specifically speaking of smoking cigarettes), using substances like the ones I've listed to smoke with is dramatically increasing the levels of carcinogens, let alone the fact the the carcinogens coming from those materials when exposed to heat is far more dangerous than Tobacco or Marijuana. Its like if smoking Tobacco or Marijuana is playing Rusian Roulette (one bullet in 6) then using those materials is like adding another 4 bullets.

Now keep in mind I am not advocating the use of anything, however I have and have done my own research into everything I have ever done, and stopped almost all of them entirely as well. I'm just saying if you are gonna smoke, be smart, and be aware dangers and be concious of the dangers of the materials you use. If you are going to do something risky, shouldn't you take every precaution to minimize your risks (just like taking trancievers and shovels/probes in the backcountry and climbing with the proper equiptment as opposed to just running up to a cliff and climbing it with no gear or training).

shit just go buy an aqua pipe at you head shop for $13.99. its watertight so you can keep it in your pants while skiing and has waterfiltration which cuts out 85% of the tar and shit

well before i bought my sing bubbler bong in st. thomas i used to make a bubbler bong out of a 2 liter bottle, tin foil, a bottle cap, straws, and saran wrap--any newbs to herb gimme a holler and ill give you details

also make a gravity bong out og a big bucket of water and a half milk carton

and then if your real lazy and all you got is beasters poke a hole in a can and smoke outta that

but its def worth it to just buy a piece or a bong cause it will last
