Ever get noticed on the hill...

I was skiing yesterday with another kid I always ride with, and he overheard some other kids mention that he recognized us from some edits on this site. I think that's pretty sick, first that our steez is recognizable. But more importantly, it goes to show that our sport is really tightly knit, esp by this awesome site.

Anybody else ever get that?
 
ive met a ton of kids through NS. i really thing its a great way to get to ski with kids who are better than you and are really cool
 
too bad the ns bracelet thing never got going. Or something to that effect. Im sure anyone with the siver/NS stuff will be easily recognized when it comes out
 
i ride with a kid everyday that gets mistaken with travis heed at almost every mountain we go to but its weird becasue he is dark skinned and asian and travis is real white
 
haha that happened to me this weekend. A_E (andy elliot), ar5180 (ryan williams), vtski039(evan williams), and others all of sudden just appeared outta nowhere and they where all like CARMADA CARMADA?!?!??!?!?! hahaha i didnt know how the fuck they knew it was me though.

ppl come up to me and like know my name its kinda wierd, but its b.c. everyone at gore sucks and em and my friends are the only ppl with some skill so i guess ppl know us
 
theres probably 8 skiers that ride park at my mountain and im pretty sure there are only 3 that go on NS,,,and i ride with them.
 
did he start with "Hey, I've got Shanghai Sex- I mean Shanghai Six in my car, you should come watch it."?
 
ive known people on the slopes and then seen them on this site like bishop mauii and ghetto_skier1
 
i see anothermammothpunk, and seanpistol at mammoth every once in a while. Sometimes I see mammothpunks, but not often.
 
yeah i get noticed all the time ill be in the park and someone will be like aren't you killyvtchic? its kinda cool, make the world seem really small. I guess i prolly get noticed a lot cuz the aren't many girls that ski park/are on here....
 
saw this one guy yesturdya i didnt talk to him but you could tell by his set up and steeze that he was an nser
 
i met hans a couple times while riding at marquette, and figured out my roommates for HN a couple years back through NS, as far as physically meeting people
 
we know who everyone is at okemo, and phazen, i know the kids who knew who you were, we all rock okemo every weekend.
 
i dont know if its from the site, but i saw somebody... saturday with elan mo2...pretty rare...with a black and LIME GREEN coat...okkkkkkkk and a white helmet....pretty much the exact SAME outfit has mine
 
those two kids were mad good...inspired me to ty sw 270 onto the flat down box. didnt do the friendly thing and say hey though. intimidation factor, ha

haha ya it happens all the time. but this one weekend.... the first weekend killi opened this season i swear to god all i heard was " ktownchic! ktownchic" it got annoying.
