There’s a lot going on at Ski Sundown this winter!
This year we’ll be kicking our season off with another Movie Premier night in our base lodge with movies from Level 1 Productions, Right Side Productions, Magical GO GO and hopefully Rage Films. This fantastic get together will be held on Nov. 12th with plenty of free product for guests and food available.
A few short weeks after the Movie Premier, we’ll be doing a rail demo in Simsbury, CT. for their fall festival where we’ll use our prime location along side the parade route to showcase some of Connecticut’s up and coming talent, as well as raise some excitement for the winter season ahead.
Our Friday Night Slope Style series will make a return into its second year where our locals, and anyone else interested in competing, will battle it out for cash and product prizes under the lights on our 1st class park set up. We’ll be alternating weeks on base area rail jams that will be adjacent to the deck to encourage crowd participation on these 8 electrifying evenings.
EMS Slope Style Events of a more competitive nature will take place on 3 Saturdays where we expect the talent pool to be nothing short of spectacular. Prizes will be worthy.
APRIL VACATION – If you’re not still on snow, you’ve given up to early. And we’re going to do everything we can for the diehards who couldn’t get enough. We’ll be running a spring ski and snowboard camp at the end of the month. Offering coaching, video analysis, product tosses, food and music… this is lining up to be the highlight of the season for campers and our Terrain Features staff that loves their jobs so much. Riders from www.magicalgogo.com will be apart of the coaching staff. Register early, it will sell out quick
Also worth mentioning, every single Sunday of the season will feature a different family style theme that ranges from family slope style and a winter carnival, to a Wild West Rodeo day. Check out our website for all the dates. These weekends are going to be a blast.
