My brother is studying abroad in europe and i want to meet him over there to ski for my winter break.. im looking for advice from ppl who have traveled there and where is an easy place to get from the airport to the mountain.. any help would be appreciated

Err depends where in europe your bros studying... It is quite big ya know.

Best airport for easy access to sick terrain is Innsbruck, you have dozens of huge resorts within 1-2 hour drive.

If you want france, check out Grenoble.

Geneva, Grenoble and Chambery are all safe bets for the French and Swiss side of things. Innsbruck also has a lot og good stuff near by.

You really need to tell us which resorts you want to go to!

most of the airports have good bus or train services up to the resorts. It really depends what your after; best resorts for park are probably mayrhofen, morzine and laax. for freeride all the resorts are pretty epic just as long as you have good conditions.

where abouts in europe will you be?

go to saas fee epic pipe and great jumpline, and alright rails fly into geneva or zurich and there plenty of buses to take that what ive done with both cities yea fun, night life seems fun too

hes in london now.. but we both figured while hes there we should drain our bank accounts and have a baller ass time in europe.. we are pretty much lookin to go to ski soem sick terrain but i dunno how conditions will be in mid december.. thats basically the deciding factor.. where will have good conditions and epic terrain while having a cool apres ski scene too

Seein as he's in London you probably want to hit up France. So.. ryanair flies to Grenoble.

So you're looking at:

Les Deux Alpes (with La Grave)

Tignes

Alpe D'Huez

Les Arcs

and 1-2 I may have missed.. best bet for snow out of them all is tignes but not sure how night life is there.

Chambreys runway is balls-to-the-wall-small the pilots all get pissed before they land there, (esp if they're Irish *COUGH* Ryanair) but the good news it's close to loads of decent resorts, Geneva airports pretty decent if you want to hit up Chamonix or any of the South of the lake resorts, or if you want to go the other way there little amazing resorts like leysin on the NE side of the lake, Geneva with Sleasyjet is normally the cheapest option. have fun

Grenoble for the south France(maybe one of the best park places in europe)

Innsbruck for west austria,it's close to st. anton

Salzburg for central austria - has got really great places around

Montreux(swiss) is close to verbier I think

Bolzano is in dolomites in italy but dolomites doesnt have offer like other do

if your going in mid december you need to go somewhere high to make sure of good conditions so your probably looking at france, i would suggest tignes awesome terrain and a pretty good park. can fly into geneva, grenoble, lyon or chambery.

Last year austria had waiste deep pow while France was green. So height doesnt guarantee snow... But generally go for glacial resorts if you're worried about snow.
