what the hell is up with movies like shanghai six and TBC where all they play is euro tech pop, its really annoying and its the same music that they listen to over there, what happened to good underground hip hop and metal in movies, all the movies are getting pussy with shitty music.....please stop this influx of bad music in our movies

teddybear crisis has no euro pop or techno. it has 80's new wave and newish music that has a slight pop influence. as for shanghai six, its indie and a little techno...and there is no problem with it. i think rap gets extremely boring as does heavy metal, i mean, how much fun is watching a movie with screaching guitars and no melody for an hour?

well sorry for not classifying the exact genre of the music in the movies but what makes the movies that level one and teddy bear just came out with not that good was the music in it. the skiier can be absolutely shitty and still look not that bad because there was good music in his segment. im just feeling a lack of "pumping me up" in ski movies lately, what are some original ideas to make a movie good and not like this years movies which are repetitive.

oh well then why dont you go buy a generic movie like MSP's Hit List, so you can get your metal and rap, i hate to say it trends change, if you dont like it tought shit, because the majority does, so all in all, quit your bitchin and if you dont like it get Hit List, there will be plenty of songs that sound just like their last movie, and the movie before that, and the one before (And i think everyone knows where i am goin with this.)

no, see, you're an idiot and have it all wrong. you're saying 'either swallow what all the core ski movie companies are dishing us, or go back to non-core ski companies.'

see, there are more options than that. the soundtracks in new snowboard movies so far have been great, for example.

what i'm saying is, we don't always have to eat up the leftovers of ski movies. they have a long way to go, and if you think thay they are offering the 'best' of a certain aspect, you are ignorant. i am of the viewpoint that they were lacking this year, collectively. i will most likely be watching snowboard movies to get myself pumped up.

in conclusion, don't tell people that 'well it could be worse, you could be listening to msp!' dude, our criticism is constructive, and if we feel ski movies are lacking, then thats how it is, and we are letting the companies know that we want them to step it up next year.

its not about what type of music at all. No matter what the genre, there are certain songs that just sound sweet. Like, i never liked hiphop or rap but there are certain songs from ski movies that kick ass because they have a sweet beat(zion I - fingerpaint, styles of beyond - mr brown). Same with pop crap. Normally i hate it but have u seen craig cokers segment in S6. Flows so well.

yea like some of the songs in tbc and s6 were good like craig cokers part but when you hear it over and over again it gets annoying like listening to hiphop the entire time, that is why i want a better vibe and stuff from movies. i just see the same shit edited a lil different with some new music, I WANT MORE NEW
