mh hintertux is alwayz open the whole year...it´s the only open glacier in austria for that time and the alwayz have a good kicker line...a pipe and a corner and some rails laax is not open, for sure not the glacier is just about 2900m or sth like that...2alpes wasn´t open last year in august but hintertux was...but the better thing is always saas fee because it´s higher the snowpark is about3400m or so...it´s pretty good...but sometimes if it is to hot and the snow is not freezing during the night the close the glacier even if there is super good weather...but the park is sick!

Verbier and Laax are closed in the summer. Verbier has fuck for a glacier.
Talking july-august...
France has Les 2 Alpes and Tignes. Don't go to Tignes for park, it will be melted away in August. Les 2 Alpes is excellent at that time, just very little snow, lots of rocks. But it's uncrowded, and the Les 2 Alpes summerpark matches Snowpark NZ in terms of size and features.
Switzerland is your best bet for august, you have Zermatt and Saas-Fee. Both have excellent parks, though small, but uncrowded, very expensive though. These parks are so high that the snow remains excellent in august, better than many winter parks in Europe, and they usually get fresh snow in August. However, if it storms, the glaciers are closed, it happens that the glacier is closed for 5 consecutive days.
Austria will have Hintertux and Kitzsteinhorn open with parks in August. But the low altitude of these glaciers combined with the lack of snow, I wouln't bet on it. Dachstein and Kaunertal are closed by then.

Personally, I would recommend Saas Fee... the Zermatt pipe is getting shitty by August.... Saas-Fee will have the better park at that time. Zermatt will give you more to do after skiing, ridiculous clubbing at night, while Saas-Fee is a tiny, quiet riders-only village in summer. PM me if you want tips for cheap accomodation...

The top of the glacier in Tignes is pretty high (cable car goes to 3456m) but the park is located below the glacier at 2800 meters. The park in Zermatt is located at 3600 meters, and Saas-Fee not much below that.
Last 2 seasons the park melted away in Tignes and they tried to rebuild something at the top which consisted of two heaps of snow supposedly kickers and 2 rails. It's got nothing on the other parks.
So "come on mate," get your facts right.

if your in saas from 22nd july onwards, im there for 2 weeks with some mates, and a shit load of brit freeskiers, give us a shout if your comin out mate
ps if u go saas fee go to the popcorn bar, its a club where they have popcorn out on the tables and is a descent night out,pricey tho!get pissed at the countless cheaper pubs in the surroundin area
