Ive seen some dope pictures and videos of some just fucking crazy features in Europe...they are progressing so fast and I believe that the future of freesking lies in the hands of the euros

 
Yeah europe is progressing faster than the states now, but only because we come from a really low level, we'll probably be at the samle level than the states r now in 3 or 4 years.

The Euro skiers wern't behind, the quality of Euro-parks was. An interview with Candide in last year's Freeze has him saying something to the effect of the best European parks are comparable to the worst parks here, but they are making steps and catching up.

Candide ahead of the times again...

But yah, seeing these parks being built over there, they're really making steps.

The parks here is still behind Americans/canadian parks, but the parks are growing bigger and better fast here now, we are startin to get som really great parks here in Norway now

People have been ripping up extreme lines in France and Switzerland before Glen Plake was a dream in his fathers eye. Its jsut been about the park scene. Thats what people want in the West. But in Europe, they like to go fast on groomers. SUPER fast. So what do you have? A system of ski areas connected by what else- long ass groomers that you can haul ass on, forever. They just ahven't been into the park scene. But now that freeskiing is getting huge, and the emergence of the "elite" athletes such as Candide, Manu Gaident, Tomas Chicherit, the Olsson boys (Jon and Robert) who combine the park and the big-mountain, they like to have good parks to train for the backcountry. Factor in the much much lower ability to build shit there (read: they aren't anal about everything certain government agencies are today, ie, the Forest Service), and huuuuge sprawling glaciers with which to work, and it makes you wonder why it didn't happen sooner. But don't get it wrong: it's the scene, not the skiers.

There are def. some dope skiers in norway and switzerland but i also think that these park designers have much more freedom because there is less hassel about insurance and stupid people who think the are real sick
