i have to write something for school just let me know if i have an ok start.

Essay topic-What is the greatest challenge you have faced and how did you react to it?

I really don’t like writing essays but I like writing, especially about past experiences. This summer I had easily the most challenging situation of my life. Normally I play golf about every day with my friends but not this summer. Last school year during the end of golf season I broke my right wrist and I got to spend my whole summer letting it heal. Now first off I was embarrassed to break my wrist falling while jumping over a “for sale” sign at one of my neighbor’s house’s. But it wasn’t bad enough because a month after that I broke my other hand, one bone in three places. Here are some of the things I did over the summer:

I got to tell approximately four million people that I broke my wrist jumping over a “for sale” sign and that I broke my other hand falling into a river. I got to tell that to literally every single person that saw me walking down the street. Oh and I walked monstrous distances because I couldn’t ride a bike. In New Jersey I would walk 101 streets each way so I could walk through the next town, and then back. One time I was walking and I had walked about 60 streets from where I was staying. Some little kids were having a lemonade stand so I thought I would buy some from them. When I reached for the lemonade this little girl screamed. She told her friends to come see “the kid with two casts” again. Apparently I was known throughout the Jersey shore and they had seen me before. I was no longer “Alex” but “the kid with 2 casts.” Later that summer I was talking to whom I had stayed with for that week in Jersey and she had had a conversation with a completely random person on the beach that knew me. “Oh yes the boy with two casts!” they said. I was a monstrosity.

The next most popular activity for me was the response I would get after people saw me. Normally I wouldn’t call a response an activity but some people just made it that. Three million out of four million jaws would drop and laugh at me while they looked at me like I belonged in a padded room. If you’ve ever had someone look at you like this you would know it. I’ll never forget the way some people looked at me. Oh and if you see someone that is in a condition similar to what I had don’t think whispering and pointing is discrete. I see you.

It is good and interesting, but like ^^ he said, it is a bit informal and devoid of structure, but it depends on what your teacher wants. Personally I like what you have a lot and I think trying to formalize it would take away from your point so do what you have to do.

man i ahve a paper to do to...about what type of doctor-patient relationship ethics methodi believe in...boring

what grade is this for? it seems like it could use some work but ive never written an informal essay.

Even though those are some completely honest and frequent activities here are some other things I did and enjoyed over the summer. I gained a much better understanding of music and now listening to music is one my favorite things to do. I went on long walks and enjoyed sunsets as well as beautiful nights. I read a ton that helped me think about life differently and morally. That helped me better myself as a person because of my ability to look at things from a completely different point of view. I used my time off golf to learn so I could be better when I returned. I met and talked to people. I learned how to make the most of the situation and day. I learned how to be creative and spontaneous to keep myself entertained. I went to one of my older best friend’s wedding which was an amazing experience. I danced and even slow danced with dual casts. I can’t imagine how funny that must’ve been to watch but hey most importantly I had fun.

Really though, I thought this summer was going to be terrible but it wasn’t too bad. I realized that as long as I went into it with a good attitude I would be fine. Now I know how to handle problems and because of this I know how to regulate myself according to the situation. This has really helped me lately when I have had larger life size problems. No matter what situation I am going into now I try to have a good positive attitude and in the long run it really helps me maintain myself and think of my options. This summer had an extremely large potential for me to sit inside and dwell on my problems but instead I made the most out of it that I could. This situation turned out to be a huge learning experience for me and I can almost make myself say that breaking both my arms wasn’t that bad.

i just got a HUSKY HIGH FIVE for writing an essay on tommy boy and the importance of not eating paint chips....seriously.
