i was just readin that thing on the x games shit going on next may and at the bottom i read that skiers will be competing in half pipe..the thing i was wondering about was why would they put us in the thing that were like the least up to date wtih...no disrespect i mean we kickass in the pipe but were still not up there with boarders yet, know what im saying ? on the other hand we can rule it on slopestyle or big air maybe...i just thought that putting us pipe was kinda odd, not wrong but odd...and something like slopestyle with a giant qp at the bottom would be sick...but yea, what do you thyink ?

there was halfpipe last year at the xgames

yes i know but we did a lot better at slopestyle...so why showcase something that were not yet totally fucking amazing at ?...when you want to represent youre sport to the public you represent the part that youre the best at ...in my opinion..were not the best at pipe yet anyone get this ? or is it just me

if you saw the WSI you'd now that our pipe skills are at a new level. chris turpin was hit the walls switch and bustin crazy moves. skiers are really good at pipe.

your an idiot, why not put the halfpipe in the x hgames how do you think boarders got good at half pipe by doing it so let the skiers do it too dumbass

 
im not saying we suck...and i have seen the WSI...that was one day with an amazing pipe..go look at jons winning run at the us open..his run was a good run with variation adn everything...but very few of his airs were over 6 feet...thats still tiny compared to the height that snowboarders go at...and also go look at the x games this past year..except for whats his name throwing those HUGE cork 9's..noone really went big in that too...im not saying we suck...im just saying were not there yet in my mind and that a diff thing like slopestyly would fit us more and give people a better view of what skiing can really do

2 years ago, you'd see mabey 10 people in the world throwing cork 9 in the pipe,

now it's a stock trick for almost all the pros' and unknows alike,

pipe is coming along at a super rate of progression,

To quote Mike D And Shane Scoz's

'We believe that 1/2 pipe will be the next big frontier to be explored'

or some shit like that, anyways the point is pipe progresses ever year-

ummm, maybe now alot of people can do a cork 9 in the pipe, but how many go huge and make it look good??? very few.

winning snowboard run in a halfpipe is like grab 20 feet out, 720 15 feet out, switch mctwist 15 feet out, inverted 900 15 feet out, inverted 1260 10 feet out.

-jon, skiing the ice so the other half of the country doesnt have to.

 
isnt anyone going to say something about this ?...and flats...yea give it one more year, but its too soon to put skiing superpipe in such a grand scale in front of millions...when we show them what we are we have to blow them awy and not let them be like...oh cool, these skiers are going ok in the pipe... snowboarding rules all ! you know ?
