What do you guys think about it?

I think its gonna be fucking sick, the teaser is hot.

in my opinion the three best skiers that people are forgetting about and all these new kids to the sport probably barely ever heard about them.

Can't wait to see it.

Discuss.

good idea i guess. is it about them or the skiing? and a little off topic...what media player does it use. its the same as on ihateny and its one of the best i've seeen

just a few days back someone had the retarded idea of trying to defend that eric pollard wasn't washed up. no defending was needed

The movie premiss reminds me of the snowboard flick Afterlame. Not really a back to back segmented rail and booter ski porno but just kind of a layed back and unromanticized view of a season.

People were defending against the "washed up" idea because on NS Radio Pollard said himself he may be washed up soon. Everyone who was listening answered in that thread how Pollard will never go that route.

the teaser had some cool shots but didnt really get me siked, but i would deff rent it and of course buy it if it was good

I just think hes gone really underground pollard at least and fujas is still out there but mahre and pollard are like low key.

Im not saying there not good, there the best fucking skiers in my opinion.

fucking rediculous...the fact is that most people DID forget about the 3 that make up the idea crew. All until few months ago when the idea was announced then everyones now fucking idea crew groupies. Only takes one person to say the movie's gonna be epic and everyone else will. Regardless the movie will be rediculous and all u little whores better not forget about pollard, pep, and andy again

i think it's bullshit. the voice overs remind me of shitty tgr trailers. The black and white digi shots are bullshit go back to art school pussies. "I see all these other ski movies and that's not what skiing like to me" I dunno about you guys but most of the skiing I see in movies is pretty representitive of what skiing is to me. The shots in the trailer look just like shots from every other ski movie. Helmet cam powder skiing? O man what a fucking IDEA. The shiers are all sick don't get me wrong, but the "theme" of the movie is bullshit.

powskiing with your friends + natural jibs are what its all about for me. progression sounds sweet too. zeros off cliffs? nice! really making an effort to combine big mountain and freestyle? sick! bc booters are sweet, but thats nothing like tricks off cliff drops or natural rollers/terrain etc.

if skiing to you is park, rails and powder, separated, disjointed and with an emphasis on park/rails than don't buy the movie. if you liek movies that have a mandatory pow shot in a seg, and thats it then buy your pbp movie this year adn nd stop complaining that comps are turn ing into sw10fest (or sw 12fests etc.). this movie is about what they love about skiing pure and simple, coincidentally thats what i love about skiing as well. i cant wait for it.

so i'm pretty sure my amazing literary skills confused everyone. eric pollard is my favorite freeskier hands down. i still have him and the line special forces poster hangin on my wall way back from Freeze

I don't exactly think people forgot about Pep, Pollard and Mahre buddy. 3 of the dopest skiers ever. Pollard and Mahre have the illest style of all. It doesn't take one person to say the movie is going to be epic and then everyone else agrees. Dude this is fucking Iberg we are talking about...a little movie called Royalty? Yea...my favorite movie of all time, no questions asked, IMO Stereotype didn't even come close. Idea should be spot on though. People are realizing that this is going to be retarded because it features 3 of the world's best skiers (non-competition) and its being made under Iberg's name (primarily). This shit is gonna be hot.

"I hope you enjoy, and if you are interested in employing me after I am titled "washed up" by the ski industry in the near future, feel free to contact me."

-Eric Pollard commenting on employment and his future with his design work.

I'd like to meet the people that call Pollard "washed up". Probably the same people that think 1620's are the future of competition skiing.

umm....i may have watched the wrong trailer or something. didn't look amazing. i'm sure it will be good but the trailer definately didn't do what trailers usually do - pump me up. it does seem like it'll be a chill movie whatever but people are sayiing "holy cow that trailer was so ill!" but...no i dunno. i am definately not judging a book by its cover, i'm sure it will be good it just seems like people are saying the trailer is so dope just because pollard and pep and andy made it. dont get me wrong i'm pumped.

Agreed, I am basing mine off of how good I know this movie will be. I'm sure this wont be the last trailer.

We never said anything about our shots looking amazingly different. A 5 year old could tell you they will look the same. Go back to 1st grade, dick.

and now on a more serious note.....

I understand what you mean, but you just looked far beyond OUR idea. Why would we want someone else to represent us, the way that they want too, when we could just do it ourselves? Do you think I had my manager write this? Actually, yes. I'm my own personal manager.

This whole project won't end up being any different, for the viewer. They will put it in, watch it, enjoy it or hate it, and that's that. Call us greedy, but that's not what the IDEA is. It's the opportunity that the six of us are getting. The opportunity to do something different than most people who ski. The opportunity to help engrave another niche for how someone can employ themselves. We don't all have to win competitions to make a living. This sport used to be on "progressions" dick. What's wrong with us trying to make some progress in the way that we ski, and make a living.

Oh, and do you think the riders in movies get paid by the production companies?

To answer that, we would rather not make any money while making our own movie, than not make any money filming for someone elses movie. There are a lot of things behind IDEA, and getting amazingly different shots isn't one of them. We don't have shit for budget, but we do have dope skis, and we use them in ways that many will try soon.

As for our theme being bullshit. You must be right. We have no idea what we are doing. It's raining, Pep is in Utah, Eric is in Oregon, and I'm in Washington. This definitly wasn't the idea..... Sadly things don't always work the way you want. As been our season....

And finally, this is my point of view, and has nothing to do with Pep, Eric, Eric, Matt, or Justin. But who knows, they may feel the same way.

this movie is gona be so sick

these guys have so much flow in there lines and make everything look so natural and easy

anyone that hates on this movie and the way these guys ski needs to just look at how creative they are. quoting doug bishop these guys give hope to everyone who cant do a cab 10 and its the truth

I love more relaxed films with a small bit art and when you can see that the people are having a blast. One of the films i like to watch most is the entourage (orage) movie. The only thingi'm scared of is that it's only powder. I mean powder can be sick, but a whole movie of only powder seem to end up being kind of long to watch. I hope that if it's mostly backcountry that there is going to be a lot of variation, trees, cliffs, kool moves of off cliffs and naturel hits, not only no grab 360s. I mean snowboard backcountry movies have such orginal shots all the time, from trre jibs to jumping from tree to tree from jumping over a lot stuff.

I'm thinking and hoping that pep andy and eric are going to be creative enough and not put to many scenes that look so much the same
