EPIC poem

Anyone here done an epic poem/ballad/narrative poem for a school project? Because I need a good one by tomorrow, and I just want to see what NS has to offer.

Oh helpless sea-cow

you may ask me how

the water can be so harsh

It is salty and cold,

or so I am told

much like that of a marsh.

Poor salty dougon

for whome I feel sorrow

crusty ocean bunnion

may feel better tomarrow.

you skin is flakey

and has lots of cracks;

you need comfort,

and comfort you lack.

I'm a thoughtful man,

who has a great plan,

to heal the skin on your back.

If the ocean were lotion,

then we'd all get the notion,

and we need to make it snappy.

So grab your lotion

make that hand-pumping motion

and start making manatees happy.

Please help? I liked the one about ocean and lotion, but maybe I need a longer one. Epic like it tells a story, doesn't have to be TOO long.

I was at a party last night and saw a very funny sight. she was fat and went down a flight. down the stairs she went. tumbled twisted and bent. i tried to hide my smile but that fall seemed like it lasted for a mile. rumble tumble the fat girl rolled into a clump of choas and jumble.

dude ballads are easy, just spin a tale, at least they are easier than an epic poem which should be 2000 lines or so.

there is a poem that is kind of emo that a kid did a speech on from the book "perks of being a wallflower"

its good until the last line when it says something about scars on a wrist
