im looking for some epic piano music. not like classical. like modern shit. just some dope tinkerings on the piano. anyone have stuff?
 
some muse songs have some pretty good stuff. aside from that i would direct you to a pianist named christopher oriley who has put out two albums of solo piano radiohead arrangments, and one album of solo piano elliot smith arrangements that are nothing short of amazing.

you can find a link to his web page under the artists directory on the sonyclassical.com web page. if youre looking for good piano music you can not pass these up.
 
you need to appreciate some classical shit first. anything by chopin, arguably one of the best piano composers ever..

Errrmm... as performed by the Musical Box? And where? I saw it played live by Steve Hackett's acoustic trio (Hackett was Genesis' guitarist during the classic era), nearly burst into tears.

Yeah, it's not a *puuure* piano song, but still.
