Epic Pass Issues

Just wondering what all of you Epic Pass people are doing this season? Are you putting up with the shitshow or are you going out of your way to ski other hills?

I feel like if it was me I would rather hit the backcountry and get 1 or 2 laps in than deal with the shit I’ve been seeing out of vail this season.

just curious if it’s changed any of your plans or ruined your season?

Changes my plans everyday when I roll up to the poorly managed parking lot that’s full by 8:30 on a week day #woodwardisbetter
 
Living in jersey I'm not close enough to a real mountain to warrant a season pass, as much as I'd love to have one. However a couple weekends ago I went up do a Killington/Okemo weekend and holy shit. Killington was so far ahead of Okemo in several aspects. Not only was the Okemo snowmaking drastically lagging behind, but it was also glaringly obvious in the staffing/shuttle bus situation.

Okemo was kinda my home mountain growing up so I'll always have a soft spot for it, but it was already getting bad with overcrowding the last decade and it seems to be only getting worse. I don't really have a solution. We need more mountains? But then again, (and I'm hesitant to mention it but...) I went back up last weekend and hit Pico cuz I knew the snow was gonna be prime and jesus christ I had one of the best days in years. I don't think I waited more than 8 minutes on a saturday and the snow was fucking incredible. So for anyone reading this... please, do not go to Pico, it's terrible.
 
Crowds have been too much for me this season.

Have been mainly doing backcountry. And when I do go to the resort, I really only use it to access sidecountry.
