i searchbarred and found only people looking for tabs so

Here's the thread where you post the dirtiest songs you've heard where the lead is the electric guitar.

I'm talking shredding, wailing, passionate axe strumming that has left you blown away!

here's what i have

Requiem - By: Galneryus

Epilogue - By: Opeth

Intermezzo Liberte - By: Arch Enemy

Anthem - By: Arch Enemy

ALL OF Blow by Blow by Jeff Beck. Probably the best instrumental guitar album ever. SO GOOD. I listen to the entire album in one sitting multiple times a week.

the solo from Time by Pink Floyd
Muse - Hysteria
Stairway (duh, especially when it gets heavy at the end)
Hendrix - Hey Joe/Voodoo Child
Stevie Ray - practically everything
ZZ top - sharp dressed man/la grange
Cream - white room
that's just some stuff off the top of my head, dont know if youre going for metal or whatever but those are some epic guitar songs

If you want something different, check out Sonny Landreth. Craziest slide player ever. You can't even comprehend what he's doing. Not in a shredding way, he just has very unique sounds and techniques.

Your right. I don't think being shat on in the eye is very good at all.

But if u mean great guitar songs, go with

Jimi hendrix

Anything from Get Yer Ya-Ya's out

Tales of Brave Ulysses

Sunshine of Your Love

Anything by the Floyd

Any thing Randy Rhoades played

SRV

the allman brothers Fillmore East album

Deep Purple.

yes. shitty metal is not good guitar, its shitty, overdistortioned, crappy guitar that isnt good as much as it hurts your ears. and to whoever posted that fall of troy song, i honestly could only make it about 15 seconds into it.

anything from the black keys is so sick!!! its so hard to pull off a 2 person band and these guys absolutley kill it!!! every song has such crazy awesome powerful riffs and its some of the best indie/blues iv heard!!!

when eric clapton calls you one of the top 5 greatest guitarists of all time, it might mean something
