Epic cannot be overused!

epic is one of those words that means so much more if you hardly ever use it. it bugs me when people are like "this is an epic sandwhich" or something like that. unless your sandwhich is 40 feet tall and has flamethrowers in it, im sorry, its not epic.

so just for reference, here is a list of what is epic, and what is not.

riding a horse= not epic

riding a horse through a battlefeild fighting off midgets= epic

going to the zoo= not epic

going to the zoo and getting in a wrestling match with a panda bear, and winning= epic

so you see people. just ask yourself "is this truly epic? is this one of those things that are going to blow peoples mind?" if the answer is no, lock that word back up in your vocabulary and use one of those everyday words like sick or dope.

so one more form of epic before i go.

not epic

i disagree with you on the legit thing. legit is just a word. a word with a simple meaning.

the word epic means that it is a fucking story that you will remember for the rest of your life.

it was one of the few words that we had assimilated into our culture that still ment something.

and i have a freind who uses it like every sentance and it gets really annoying.

i was only thinking about this yesterday, when some kid made a thread on how epic his tshirt was.

i just had an epic pee. haha, i do agree with you it should not be used in mediocre situations. same with profanity.

legit can't be overused epic can. plain and simple and props on the riding through a battlefield fighting midgets that is some funny stuff. i'd say the most overused phrase is "your mom" hands down or "thats what she said"
