Ok so i was riding my ep pros to day with about 2in of fresh, mostly on groomers some of trail, and i was riding with a friend and he said that while i was skiing that tons of people pointed at my skis, i know people ask me about the almost ever run, so my question is does any one else with ep pros or any other fat rockered ski get this kind of attention, or is my mountain to dumb to get the concept?

My friend had some people point at his Scratch Ghettos...

Someone at the hotel I work in thought skis with sidecut looked "weird."

People can barely comprehend sidecut let alone rocker

Whenever I ride my Hellbents or my ON3Ps, i get lots of people asking about them. Not so much anymore, but sitll plenty.

haha they must be like. "Those aren't real skis cuz it's not a real ski brand." It must feel good to be like "Actually, it is a real ski company. I own it. So, yeah." hahaha

i'll shut up

I got some odd stares and a lot of funny comments while waiting in line when I was skiing my buddies Silva's at my hill in the midwest. it was fun to hear all the gaypers gawk about them.

I have chopsticks and I constantly get questions about them and people always ask if they can try them out.

Not very much, but some rando forgien gapper asked my buddy vinny if his motherships were skiblades for powder.

Doesn't really happen at Baker because everyone and their mom has either Hellbents or EP Pro's... And the occasional Caylor pops up.

Pretty much everyone who has seen my Caylors (even when I'm not actually skiing on them) has asked in a surprised tone "What are THOSE?"

I don't have any but sometimes when I'm going up a lift or something like that I'll ask how someone likes likes their skis, not in a gaper way but in a conversation starter way

Don't know if this answers your question at all

happens every time i go skiing, i rocked my bents at stratton the other weekend and i got a comment like every 5 seconds. i just fuck with people who ask me about them. I told someone that i made them, i told another person that the tips and tails broke so that's why they stuck up, and i told someone else that i ran them over in my car so that's why they were so fat in the tips....they didn't buy that one

I got a couple glances and some pointing at my purple VCTs up at Jackson but every other person there has fat skis (i'd never seen factions, icelantics, ignaeous or karhus in person before this trip)

Ever time I stop I'll have someone asking about my JJs but then again they arn't exactly looking much like your traditional ski.

People point at my skis in lift lines and i only have disorderly's, they don't really look abnormal, maybe a little wide to some old people. I generally hear people saying stuff like "hey he's got some of those new trick skis" or stuff like that.

people would stare at my hellbents when i skied them in onterrible. i saw someone with live life 2s which are probably one of the wierdest looking rockered skis out there and a bunch of people were staring at those including myself.

Everyone asks me about my hellbents. People stare as well, one guy asked me today, "how do you ski those fucking canoes on this ice?" I told him cuz i got mad skill yo. But, yea, it still happens alot.

hahah i have LL2's and i rock them on the east coast. i probably had 20-30 people as me about them in lift lines this weekend. i dont really mind haha, kinda funny seeing the reactions

You wanna talk about gawking gapers? I live in Vegas and bought EP pros for when I go up to SLC or Tahoe.....You have to understand people here think that Volkl AC 50s are ridiculously wide...

k2 seths

i get them occasionally. but then again i ski at a mountain where the majority of people are still rocking straight skis.

I get funny questions about my bacons- "THose look like 2 snowboards, except with, like, one attachment on each." I am always amused on lift rides.
