Any one elses ep pros top sheets chips very easily i rode mine only for 5 days and there's some pretty good chips on the top sheet

Mine are all chipped at the top and theres some chips here and there that I cut off, but yeah I could be wrong but I think it was a problem with all of lines top sheets this year, but they fixed it. Doesnt really bother me though~

Well if you wont be convinced that its not a big deal, but there was a documented issue with line top sheets this year, but it has been fixed.

i think some people forget that bents and eps are 150+ in the tip... its really hard to keep those babies from bumpin and rubbin when your doing any kind of hard skiing.... but i rode my eps a lot this year and they are way chewed up... but its all good, if you have any really bad ones at the end of the season just sand them down a little and epoxy those bitches..

I filed down my edges at the tip on the rocker of my Hellbents and also on the tail. I have had no problems. I only need them slightly sharp underfoot.

yo can anyone agree with me that the last year they made the ar5, that was the most bombproof topsheet ever. a full year and a half on these and they were soooo quality. best skis ever for sure.

the similarity is sidewall construction, they're gonna chip no matter where they're made unless they're made of solid metal.

there is a laminate that you or anyone can put on the top of there skis called ski saver. its like 20-30 bucks and it will prevent it from chipping later or any further damage.

i had been looking for something since that whats everyone says about the top coat on the public enemy's so i started looking. thats what i found.

good luck.

It happens. Seriously, they are sidewalls, and there is a god chance of them chipping.

If you file down where the topsheet meets the sidewall it helps. Just a little to make it rounder. try it on your next pair of K2 or whatever.

My bents were gettings a little ravaged in spots, and I filed down the corner a little, it makes a lot of difference, not much new chipping since then.
