EP Pro question

Hey guys. I have a chance to get a good deal on a pair EP Pro's. I live on the East Coast but I am making two trips out west this year, and I ski at Stowe at least once and I head up to a small mountain called McCauley quite a bit. I was just wondering how the EP Pro's handle in the trees. I am 5'8" and I weigh about 155. Will they be able to turn quick enough? I have ridden the Elizabeths and love them, but I also want a ski that I can drop some cliffs with out west. Pretty much I will only be riding this ski in the trees and to and from the lift lines. Thanks.

Seths or Lizzies/Bacons would probably better for you. Lizzies would be my pick for you. I used them for exactly what you described in colordao. i am 10 pounds lighter than you but the same height.

Do you ever get tip dive or anything? Last year I spent two weeks in summit county and I got a few powder days at vail. I just want to be able to drop some cliffs (nothing over 15 feet haha).

i live up in washington and i rise line prophet 100s and i mainly stick to trees and drops and they pretty much work miracles

i hav never ridden the eps so i dont really hav an opion on them

if you're looking for the playful aspect of a ski then get bacons, they are much more turny and a super versatile ski so they'll be sick in the east and out west
if you want to charge more, get prophet 100's, they fucking rip

the EP pro is a really soft ski. if you want somehting with a lot of versitality try the Hellbent. Same style and rocker just a tad bit skinner in the waste and more stffness. Both are good skis made by the same general company and you cant really go wrong with either but the Hellbent is definintally more versitile than the EP Pro

I was in the same position as you last year. Loved trees and 15 foot cliffs. I got Bacons and don't regret it at all. I'm from WA state though so I ski them all the time, but same idea. PM me with any questions. And don't mount them that close to center if you don't want tip dive. Rec or +1 is what I'd do. I had mine like -1 or osmething and I occasionally get tip dive but no biggie. Mine are set up for all mtn. cause I have Donner Party's for pow and all that jazz.
