As a Newb this may be a played out subject, but I would like to know what riders think of them.

some guy was hittin the park in those things. looked like a lot of fun, no rails tho

Just skied them in spring slush conditions up at Snoqualmie last week and they far exceeded my expectations. I thought they would be really hard to handle on hardpack, given my experience with other skis with a lot of rocker like Pontoons, etc. but they actually were very easy to ski on, in part due to the soft flex, and in part due to the sidecut. While there is definitely a speed limit, these were some of the most fun skis I've ever rode. Switch snap turns in slush, laying it way over!!

mine should be here sometime in august...Knowing line though Ill probably have em just in time to mount them for thanksgiving...ill write my review then

first off, ski pow pow stfu, you don't know what you're talking about. Id rather have a tru powder ski, like a lotus 138 or a praxis, than just a noodle. Both are going to suck dick on hardpack anyways.

These skis are now a source of worry... where should I mount these bad boys, and what the hell am I going to have to do to get some brakes to fit on them...

Rossignol makes 125mm brakes for the Axial 2 bindings, and next years Axial 2 200XXL's have 120mm brakes, one of those should work well.

Yeah, I was thinking about doing something like that, but I havent seen the separate 120 wide brakes anywhere for sale individually... $300 for the Axial 2 XXL's, but damn, those look sick.

The xxl's have a 120 wide brake, and I really dont want to stress a 100 brake that wide, I'll go through pairs of them like crazy landing switch.

they have a 125mm brake, you just had to click the tab to view the other size. it's $45 for the 105mm brake and $50 for the 125mm
