EP Pro binding rip-out

I have STH's mounted on my '08 EP Pros. Earlier in the season my right toe-piece ripped out when I took a turn hard. It's remounted about a cm forward of center now. I could live on them, but I don't like that the binding ripped out so

easily, and now my tail is longer than my tip, so i wanted to see what

they might be able to do to help me out. Also, if they rip out again there's nowhere to remount them, as the profile narrows out right after the underfoot.

Has anyone ever dealt with Line for returns or anything like this? Wondering if its going to be a waste of time to try and reach someone to see what might happen...

yeah check this out, and talk to the shop who mounted them up first. I had a rip out, and the shop was way chill about. Put a helicoil in the holes, and never had a problem since.

Has anyone else had any problems with tear outs on EPs? When I was mounting my EPs I actaully had to grind the screws a bit, otherwise they would have dimpled my base.

The first pair of binding i put on them thats what I had to. One of the toe pieces was basically glued on, but for my fks that i put on them later they have were fine. I have about 4 pairs of mount holes and each ski ( due to the shop screwing up), and have not had a problem. I have definitely been sketched, but luckily nothing has happened.

I pulled out my heelpiece on a pair of titanium reinforced scott p4 and first they adviced to drill holes, but i insisted on trying helix screws, or helicoils, however you call it, and now theyre holding up just fine!

so i dont think that binding blow-outs are allways the result of poor skiquality, id rather say its the result of poor mounting...
