Entourage Season 5!

The first episode of season five just ended. I must say I was not disappointed. I can't wait for more new episodes. The ending was great. Drama and Turtle make a great fucking team. Anybody else on here with me? Theres gotta be. Entourage is a great fucking show.

P.S. Looked but found no threads on this recently.
 
not disappointed? the show went downhill after season 2, and it looks like they kept the same writers from last season.
 
i've been waiting for season 5 for SO long and i couldn't watch it tonight because i'm at my grandparents' and they don't have HBO. not stoked.
 
well, personally I wasn't disappointed. probably because its been fucking forever since last season. As for the writing, i'm not sure if I can say for sure. I have the first two season on DVD and therefore am absolutely sick of them cause i've seen them so many time. Maybe I just needed something new. But I didn't leave the room thinking "Oh shit, they've ruined entourage".
 
watching it tomroow with my girlfriend... thank god for DVR... i love entourage, ari is a fucking badass
 
i take Entourage personally... the first two seasons were definitley the best, but you make it sound like it's gone to shit, WHICH IT HASN'T. e-bite your e-tongue before you e-say something you'll e-regret.
 
Although Season 1 and 2 were the best, Entourage is still Entourage it is still the best show on TV and it is still sick as fuck.
 
Just got done watching season 3 this week and I'm pretty disappointed I don't have HBO and missed tonight's episode. If anyone knows where I can see it online let me know! Any idea whether the iTunes store will have it up before the whole season's aired?
 
i was kind of let down by the premiere, but with that said, i think it might take one or two more episodes for the season to really hit its stride.
 
i thought last night's episode was pretty good. entourage has definitely lasted a lot longer than weeds. those two shows used to be pretty equal in my eyes but now weeds has gone to shit.

In my eyes the first half of the third season is by far the most entertaining. Every episode was great.

Then came the horrible second half, after they dumped ari. It just didnt work.

The 4th was so-so, but it left on an incredibly high note, with Cannes being one of my favourite episodes.
 
it hasn't gone to shit purely because its an interesting premise and the show kinda writes itself, but there-in lies the problem. without some creative juices flowin, it is nothing more than the same framework for jokes and plot. vince doesn't give a shit about something, E does, drama says something like "you know when I reprised the role of so-and-so in blah-blah-blah" and turtle or e responds by cutting him down.

also sometimes I just don't buy the idea that vince is so cool. whenever I'm high and watch the show it seems really corny. anyways, I'll still watch it, but the writing definitely has gone downhill. it's almost become a parody of itself.
 
if you read interviews with Walberg, that's been the idea since the beginning. they take it seriously enough to make sure it's a funny, entertaining show with good acting, but the whole thing is supposed to be a contemporary Animal House in Hollywood, more or less.
 
the plot of the show has def gone way down hill, they should just show them living it up all the time all the drama and suspense is lame. but still the jokes are so funny and drama turtle and ari are like three of the funniest tv characters so im def still stoked on watching entourage. its just a wicked fun show
 
you do understand that this is based off a mark wahlbergs career right? and theres actually real shit that happened in his life..not just partying 24/7 so if all they showed was partying all the time and nothing about the suspence and drama then it would be an inaccurate plot...go back to watching mtv bro
 
dude I agree 100%, they started running out of ideas, basically in each episode they go to one place that is either related to California- Weed Shop, Rodeo Drive, various restaurants, or places that are super expensive- Private jets to NY, Vegas, different homes.,going to Cannes and shit. They are just doing the same thing over and over in different places.

They writing got old a long time ago, and now they are actually running out of cool locations to reuse their old ideas.

I downloaded it off Btjunkie.org. I thought the new episode was sick...I love how the first time we since vince this season he's bangin two chicks.

turtle has it the best in that show....leeches off of vince...smokes ganj when ever....drinks whenever...g.ets pussy whenever....and doesn't dooo sheeeeit for it
 
watched it last night. Had to make the guys in my room (college) let me change the chanel from the football game. definitely worth it. Ari's the shit. As much as i love watching the show i hate it cuz i get so jealous of their lives. Every character is awesome, especially Ari.
 
haha i know what u mean..i l love that show but after its over i just sit there and think how awesome it would be to live that life
