gotta love that every shot is shaky, cloudy, and in a terrain park. and about 3 minutes of Mt. Hood Footage. wow. congratulations. I think I'll go for Level 1, Theory 3 and Two Plank this year. Those trailers looked DOPE.
 
I hope it makes you feel good when you bash "still in high school" companies that don't even have a hundredth of the budget of the companies you listed. Of course the cinematography is not going to be absolutely perfect...it isn't perfect in the trailers you listed either. But anyways...suit yourself. If you don't want to support change then I don't care what you think about the movie.
 
hiding behind the excuse of "still in high school" for shaky shots wont get you anywhere man. its called a tripod, learn to love it. plus, id say the people from those other companies (l1p, theory, rage) they all have very solid shots that you cant really talk shit about. and do you honestly think a movie made by a "still in high school company" is going to change fuckall? its rad that you guys are throwing a movie together and trying to sell it all and shit, but untill you have your shit straight and totally legit dont try to be full of baller status and try to act like you have any pull (black sheep rules, go listen to them)because in the real life buddy...we all have very little influence in the greater flow of shit.

FUCK, this sport is about fucking love. Love for the mountains, love for innovation, love for travelling 12 hours to get two shots because the weather is so fucking shitty.

If you can't understand that... well fuck, I think you should re-examine what you think skiing is really about.
 
you guys probably missed that piece. i said it is sweet that theyre doing it, but a lot of times people start getting on a high chair and think they run shit. and ineedarealname, yeah ive made a movie...it was a few years back adn i think it came out alright. i just gave/sold a few copies to some people i knew. moral of the rant, try to not get inflated heads with "run out of high school shit", its fucking cool that your pulling all the strings together to get the final product but its the ego that people get along with it sometimes that annoys me.
 
you can put those fears to rest, bobdole, because i'm fairly certain these boys are ego-less. super nice kids all around. i really am failing to understand where your accusations are coming from.
 
for real, they have no ego problems, matty and julian are just trying to make a legit ski movie. and not too mention the fact that they dont have any huge name riders, theres maybe a few in there that most will recognize. matty is one of the nicest guys ever and always keeps shit real....and julian well hes just julian and dope. and im not biased either, i havent even known matty THAT long but we have become really good friends. and this is their second movie putting out, the first years was free and this year they put more money into it, matty just bought himself a way doper camera, they went on way more trips and stuff. this is one of the film companies that could very well make it out of the 'high school' kid stage and take ski films a better direction then PBP or MSP.

First off im sorry that you think that this film is going to be able to compete with the big proffessional companies like PBP L1P Rage and Theory 3 productions becuase the riding difficulty is not gunna be quite at par to the pros riding abilty (not all of it will be at par becuase they have some names that are gunna blow up soon), the footage quality isnt able to directly compete (but it is really close. vx200 and a new panasonic camera) with the pro companies super expensive cameras , and they just have the lack of experiance (only second film). But this is all becuase they do not have any sponsors sponsering the film so they can get all the cash to pay for the trips, the tickets, the equipment, filming equipment and film, and the accomodations. All of this cash will be coming out of their pockets and those who support EM and chose to buy this film.

What ever u want to call it: amateurs or "still in high school," everyone has to start somewhere. For example have u seen PBP's second film? This is EM'second film and i can tell u that this film will be MUCH better than theirs.

In the quote you say that they dont have that much pull. If u know anything about EM u have probably seen thier first film. If uve read the responses u see that almost everysingle person who read it really enjoyed it. EM has a lot of support here on NS and fucking with it will only get u gatted.

So in conclusion... Cool Dude! (thumbs up). And who knows maybe EM will become the next L1P or PBP. Only hard work and time will tell.

I agree about that people who make videos start to get cocky, people with a company , a movie, clothing, and all that shit. But not Matty. Ive known matt since he was in grade 3 and Ive never seen him be cocky. Julian is cool.

These guys aint getting up on no high horse. They dont have a inflated ego.

yea!, i would like to point out a few things, 1st off we dont think we are the dope sauce or what ever you want to call it, i dont see how we have petrayed a big bad ego at all, 2nd of all some people dont kno what is ment by "still in high school", "still in high school" means things like working part time and making a verry low wage of usally 8.50$ a hour,(when you rout of school you can work full time for things like a mill or moving company and make tons more) now at the wage it is verry hard to be able to afford to go on big trips to big mountains and stay at these big hills and eat and lift tickets gas and what not, so what im saying is yes highschool can be used for a valid thing because it puts a block on alot of things, 3rd of all, we shot alot of BC this year and the weather its verry unrealiable, so being in school we would have to wait a week to come back to hit it and by then it was either burried or wrecked by the weather 4thly its not fair to compare us to someone like Josh Berman or anyone from LP1, because they are a big movie company along with rage and other people and 5thly i dont kno how we made it so that u guys would just get mad for no apperant reason, if u dont like it then dont say anything.
 
man, who cares about what 1 person said, look at what 100 other people said about your teaser... i thought it was way better that most of the other stuff ive seen so far, i can already tell that this movie is gonna be sweet. even if bob dole thinks its too shaky

Hahaha this is funny...by saying "still in high school" I wasn't claiming anything, just the fact that it is very hard to travel and we had no money, I love you guys.
