Okay so we have to do a research paper that involves surveys/interviews and I'm doing my topic on the benifits of smoking weed and how its impacted peoples' lives positvely instead of the commercial negative side everyone sees.
What im doing here is asking you guys what are some good questoins i can ask for my survey? They can be yes/no or short answer. So far i got ones such as

-I deff. dont regret it because it made me find my true friends and grow a closer relationship with my brother

-My experiences smoking made me realize that It doesnt really matter what people think of you. It also made me not think negative towards others and respect there opinion.

- Negatively, smoking has made me kinda lazy ha. But on a positive note it completely releases my stress, kinda like skiing.

Daily.

Never have, never will.

Feeling of being spiritually enhanced. Creative thinking. Relaxed.

Pos: Makes me feel better, focus better, and relax.

Neg: Eating far too many Doritos for one sitting.

I like your paper idea too!

I might use it if I ever write a paper like this.

How often do you smoke weed:

2-3 times a week

Do you regret doing it?

if i regretted it, i wouldn't do it 2-3 times a week.

What did you think of your experience?

you don't get high your first time. but the first time I got high it was not that great, only after i did it about 10 times did i really start enjoying it.

How has it impacted you (both positively and negatively)

Honestly, its a very positive effect. I smoke only after I have been working my ass off studying, or writing a paper, it makes me feel great knowing I worked hard on what i needed to do, now i can relax toke some trees and just chill.

The only negative is i HATE spending money on it.

I smoke on a daily basis when I got the $$, but I have some helpful information, compliments of "The Emperor Wears No Clothes" by the man Jack Herer.
Medicinal Benefits:1. Asthma: "Taking a hit of marijuana has been known to stop a full blown asthma attack." (personal communication with Dr. Donald Tashkin, December 12, 1989 and December 1, 1997) Today, Californian asthma sufferers, with a doctor's recommendation, can legally grow and use cannabis medicines.
2. Glaucoma: Cannabis smoking would benefit 90% of the 2.5 million glaucoma victims, and is two to three times as effective as any current medicines for reducing ocular pressure. (Harvard; Hepler & Frank)
3. Tumors: Researchers at the Medical College of Virginia discovered that cannabis is an incredibly successful herb for reducing many types of tumors, both benign and malignant. In 1975, a medical breakthrough occurred and successful tumor reductions were recorded.
4. Nausea Relief: "Marijuana is the best agent for control of nausea in cancer chemotherapy." (Dr. Thomas Ungerleider, head of California's Marijuana for Cancer Research Program from 1979 to 1984) This is also true for AIDS treatment.
5. Epilepsy: "Marijuana...is probably the most potent anti-epileptic known to medicine today." (Medical World News, Mikuriya, Tod H., M.D.)
6. Antibiotic/Disinfectant: For virtually any disease or infection that can be treated with terramycin, cannabis derivatives did better in Czechoslovakian studies, 1952-1955. Direct contact with THC killed herpes virus in a University of South Florida (Tampa) 1990 research study by Dr. Gerald Lanez.
7. Lung Cleaner and Expectorant: Cannabis is the best natural expectorant to clear the human lungs of dust, smog and the phlegm associated with tobacco use. Marijuana smoke effectively dilates the airways of the lungs, the bronchi, opening them to allow more oxygen into the lungs. It is also the best natural dilator of the tiny airways of the lungs, the bronchial tubes, making cannabis the best overall bronchial dilator for 80% of the population. (UCLA Tashkin Studies, 1969-97; U.S. Costa Rican, 1980-82; Jamaican studies 1969-74, 76)
8. To Increase Appetite: Cannabis is, at this time, the very best medicine on the planet for anorexia.

I suggest you try to find and read this book. It will change everything you thought you knew about trees, trust.

How often do you smoke weed:

Somewhere between daily and weekly

Do you regret doing it?

The first few times I smoked there were some rough patches..I had panick attacks a few times and thought i was going to die..But ive gotten over that shit...Once I realized weedcant kill you it stopped bothering me.

What did you think of your experience?

You definitly need to have the right attitude...If something is off in your life, smoking might bring it out..Thats happened to me..But when your mind is at peace its super chill..I Love to smoke

How has it impacted you (both positively and negatively)

I've kind of already covered this..Positivly...well it makes people feel good...definitly the most obvious positive..Negativly...it makes people feel so good that they can want to smoke instead of doing things they have to do...you have to have a certain amount of self control.

when i smoke i get a lot more creative. i play a ton of music and i jam with my friends when were high, and we record some music and it comes out so good. your mind is a lot more open to differnt styles and everything just feels better.

im not posting a survey just yet. i'll post that in a day or two.i just need to add a couple more questions to it

How often do you smoke weed:on the Daily
Do you regret doing it?not one bit.
What did you think of your experience?
my experience with marijuana has taught me alot about myself and the world around me.
How has it impacted you (both positively and negatively)
pros-i used to be the most ADD child but now i much more relaxed.i have met lots of like minded individuals both old and young who share my love.i am far less judgmental of people in general. it clears my mind... i dont know how else to explain it but i honestly dont know where i'd be right now if i didnt smoke pot. when my mother died it helped me get back on my feet when i was severely struggling.its the best herbal remedy for just about anything, ever.
cons-people love judging before taking the time to get to know.its still illegal.its expensive(unless you grow...)

Who/What influenced you to try it your first time?

Why do you continue/ot continue to smoke?

How much do you spend on weed in a week/month?

Did you experience what you were expecting to?

How often do you smoke weed:

-Monthly

Do you regret doing it?

A little, just because I am scared of getting caught

What did you think of your experience?

Somewhat disappointing. I just don't like it that much. It's pretty fun I guess but I prefer drinking. Just my thing.

How has it impacted you (both positively and negatively)

Had a good time-+

and that is about it.

How often do you smoke weed:

weekly

Do you regret doing it?

not at all

What did you think of your experience?

the experience is fun. you see things in a different perspective and you see all the good things in life and you laugh. i noticed that i'm also more aware of the small things in life. time goes by pretty slow, and when im really tripping balls i get these sensations of energy which flow through my body. inexplainable really. i also get this feeling that i'm constantly waking up from something, also inexplainable. everything is just so laidback and chill.

How has it impacted you (both positively and negatively)

negatively, parents lose a little bit of trust in me, and my breath capacity has kind of lowered. and maybe it hasn't, i don't really know. also gained some weight from eating too much munchies

positvely, all the crazy fun times with my friends, its made me more interested in learning like science and nature for some reason.

How often do you smoke weed: almost daily

Do you regret doing it? no unless i have something hard that i have to do

What did you think of your experience? amazing

How has it impacted you (both positively and negatively) bad when i have school, perfect when im just chillin in the summer

How often do you smoke weed:

-Weekly

Do you regret doing it?

The only thing i regret is letting people find out because a lot o people make quick judgements about whether you are a good person or not if you smoke weed at all. Overall I don't regret smoking weed.

What did you think of your experience?

I enjoy it as long as the atmosphere is chill and there's no haters and people able to bust you for it. It's great when you need to destress and even better when you are just hangin with your buds. (no pun intended haha)

How has it impacted you (both positively and negatively)

Negatively

-Memory a lil worse prob

-could dissapoint parents

-when i smoke girls think the weed smell is horrible

Positve

-more relaxed usually

-i have more fun with my friends

makes food taste wayyyyyyyyyyy better

hope this helps hah

How often do you smoke weed:

Daily

Do you regret doing it?

I do not regret trying it, but I do regret letting it become such a large part of my day-to-day life.

What did you think of your experience?

In retrospect, time goes by VERY quickly when you smoke a lot of weed... and this time is often wasted time.

How has it impacted you (both positively and negatively)

Positively-I rock in video games when I'm high. Skiing high is a great time. It is a good hangover cure.

Negatively-I am overall less ambitious, lazy, fat, and care-free (unless I am out of pot), and my school marks are lower because of it.

How often do you smoke weed:

every few weeks/closer to monthly at points

Do you regret doing it? nope

What did you think of your experience?

It's fun if you're in a good mood. i've been smoking weed for close to 2 years off and on. it mellows you out if you're in a good environment

but...

the last time i smoked though i was depressed and had the most intense panic attack of my life with an overwhelming amount of suicidal thoughts. basically if my friends and girlfriend weren't there i would have been fucked royally.

How has it impacted you (both positively and negatively)

The Good:

Intensified sports and music

intensifies moods

calming effect

ability to reason enhanced

different thought patterns

visualize thoughts and words (if you're really really stoned)

makes work easier, i did landscaping so yeah (IMO)

more thorough with work

No PHYSICAL withdrawl

The Bad:

Intensifies moods, (good or bad)

visualizing thoughts (good or bad)

Tar, coughing it up

exercise, takes a little while for lungs to clear and endurance back to normal

short term memory loss (comes back after stop smoking)

sometimes causes laziness

mental dependancy, fairly easy to stop smoking, but breaking the habit makes life seem boring for a few days unless occupied

How often do you smoke weed:

only a few times, twice to be exact.

Do you regret doing it?

At the start i did because some of my friends frowned apon it ( i used to also) but now i dont really. Im not proud of it and dont plan on doing it much but im not like " oh my god i shouldnt have done that, what was i thinking, im going to die"

What did you think of your experience?

It was alright, fun, gave me some good stories. I didnt have much so i wasnt super stoned or anything just slightly so i wasnt crazy zoned out.

How has it impacted you (both positively and negatively)

It didnt really impact me at all.

haha fail on my part there haha ummmmmmm

have you been caught and charged for possesion and do you think it should be legalized and why

- Do you think you were influenced by peer pressure to begin using cannabis?

- Have you ever tried or considered trying "harder" drugs due to your cannabis use?

- While under the influence of cannabis, what is your general mood?

- Have you ever done any regrettable or uncommon things to get cannabis?

- If cannabis was to be decriminalized, what consequences do you think would result from this?

That's all I can come up with. And people, he asked ideas for questions.

How often do you smoke weed:

What did you think of your experience?

basically waht i said before. it balances me out.
How has it impacted you (both positively and negatively)
well for one, it gives me acne, and that sucks, but oh well. otherwise, no negative effects. except for money issues. that sucks.

hahahha what a FAIL.

You tried to explain twice that you wanted more questions and all you got was more answers....so funny

i dont know if you got different wuestions or what but fuck it ill answer your first one.

How often do you smoke weed: 3-4 times daily

Do you regret doing it? not in the slightest. I think it has opened my eyes to more things than if I didnt do it. I enjoy life more because of it and see things that other people may not.

What did you think of your experience? So far its been a fucking trip.

How has it impacted you (both positively and negatively) Positively it has given me a better outlook on life, Ive had a ton of fun times high, met a lot of good people through it.

negatively my parents hate it, I hate when people put me in the 'stupid stoner' category, It does make me lazier there is no denying it but other times it will make me motivated to do things.
