We had the chance this year to start our own small buisnesses in class in small groups.

We chose to make a tall hoodie company called ENEMY but we need to no sum shit...what do the people like.

We need to no:

How tall is tall enough:

What Colour Cominations:

Should We Screen Print Or keep Plain:

What Materials:

Any Other Information needs to be know? post it up?

sorry for dub post but i see tons of tall hoodie companies come through here ever day (not hate) but there design, colours, types, and fit are pretty much all the same so if you want this small companie to be succesfull you will have to be diffrent from the rest

props steezonskis!thanks for tip bro heres 4 designs i did, i wrote the enemy in a throw up graffiti style then scaned on comp and edited in Photoshop.

Let me know what cha think i can do alot more.

try diffrent fonts logos just play around until u find something really really sick other wise there still dope

like he said there's hundreds of these companies on newschoolers, the whole graffiti look is good but thats what everyone else does as well, so just try to think outside the box.. and look at my response to the thread called 'tall tee company' or something like that
 
be different!!! thats the biggest thing. newschoolers is a good market, but it would be a huge mistake to let the members of this site direct your brand. you have to be bold and stand for something, if you listen to all the typical responses you'll find yourself with a generic brand that looks like every other one here and follows trends. i feel like i cant answer these questions for you because these are the ones that define your image, and are the most important ones you make as a a business, so dont let a thread define you. if you decide you want to promote your brand around top quality, get thick shirts. if you want it affordable and available, go the wholesale cheap route. when i work on my powwow brand i try hardest to avoid the simple 'writing my brand name in cursive edwardian, and putting it on a shirt, writing powwow in graffiti with bright colors, using skylines, and other things that every single brand does.' its obviously ok to draw inspiration from certain trends but just be different.

Oh wow, so that's what you guys make. I've been handed clothing and such at a bunch of competitions, yet I had no idea what your actual goal was.

Well I'd suggest about 36 inches on zipper length is tall enough for me, that's 2 inches above the knee and I'm about 5'9.

I like the designs so far, I'd like for different fonts, and don't always have the name be the only thing on the hoodie, I love to see other designs and just whatever you have in mind, I like the backgrounds, with the vines and everything, expand on that, I'd love to see the design extrapolated upon.

Like 35-36 inches, Purple/Zebra = sex. Yellow is dope as well, any colors are cool really.

Definatly a hoodie over a crew.

Yeah, like try different designs for the letters, switch it up.

Yeah, like instead of a shirt that just says ENEMY right down the middle, why not a shirt that has designs, like a skyline or something. Just an idea.
 
yeah bro where defiently doing that bro..Enemy wont just be planted int he middle any way there might be a skyline and then enmy on the botom right or left side, or it might not even have and enemy graff design on it at all but it will have a small enemy tag some where ont he hoodie most likley.

Personally you should make a purple and black lined hoodie

I reckon a tall tee ontopof a crew neck straight uot of the box would be fresh(has in new idea)

you should make them fairly cheap too, and unlike tons of other kids making sweaters on ns, you should offer some darker colors like brown, burgundy, charcoal, purple and black. I havnt really found anyone on here that offers darker colors like. that I am so tired of bright colored hoodies.

as far as length goes, i prefer like 38 or 39 inches tall, im like 5 11 and a half and for skiing i like it to cover my knee caps.

You should also make vests and crews

i would probably buy one if you had those colors, and you should deffinately screen print them

well purple and black is always cool, a dark brown or charcoal tall hoodie with black trim would look real sick, i would probably buy one, or a black hoodie with burgundy trim would be ill
