so the other day i was skiing and did a 360 but caught an edge when i landed and fell right on my shoulder. at first i thought it was seperated but i went into the doctor today and he said that i either have a dull nerve that just needs to wake up, or its a torn rotater cuff and ill be out for 3 to 6 months. i got an MRI tomorrow morning but i wont get the results until wednesday. this is so nervracking.

any of you guys got good season ending stories?

Well its really hard to hurt yourself skiing when theres no snow, oh hey lookie here its raining again, unless you do urban with ice rink snow, which we've done, or try skiing on grass, which we've also done. Either way, I'd rather hurt myself on snow than without it. Good luck to you and with a good recovery program you'll be back alot sooner than 6 months.

yea i hope its not a torn rotater cuff that sounds bad, but the only bad thing that has happened to me while skiing is dislocating my shoulder and having to pop it back in, it fuckin sucked ass

Ehhh ya know. I thought i was indestructible. One thing lead to another... and...BAM. Turns out im destructible.

i broke my anklelike 3 weeks ago walked on it for the first week not knowing it was broken but now i want to ski and i can walk on it but when i jump it hurts im pissed but not as pissed as i would be if i was u

tore my ACl in May, doctor was a retarded and said i was fine, kept biking over the summer and re-hurting the same knee, and every time i went to the doctor and he told me the same fucking stupid thing. Finally he sends me to get an MRI and i had a fully torn ACL and a torn meniscius. Know i didnt get that MRI till november so my season finished before it started. If it wasent for my docter being a dumb ass i would have gotten surgery over summer brake and prob would be skiing most of the season...WHAT AN ASS HOLE!!!

lst year i was screwin around in tha gym at my school i swung off the back of the bball hoop(off tha stage) and landed on mupper back/sholder and i busted my collar bone .....that was in november...so my season never really started...but once u get into sports physio it works wonders....lata brah

shitty brah...but trust me if tha doc says ur out for tha whole season then listen dont rush tha recovery...then u end up with problems down tharoad...

Dude, i know. it's been how long? 4 and a half weeks now. Trust me, I won't be skiing till I'm good and ready. And when i do, it will definatly not be full on skiing. I get to take 'er easy for the rest of the season. Should be skiing in about 2 weeks.

Don't really know if you can have a good season ending story but here it goes...

I landed on my head, when i caught my tips doing a nollie on the slope, in february of last season. I kept skiing for 2 weeks untill i couldn't walk anymore. Went to the hospîtal where doctors told me i'd broken 2 vertebrae in my back.

I had to go back home for 6 weeks but i got back for the end of the season. On my first park run after getting back i landed a 360 but the landing was so soft i sank in like 15cm, i crashed, landed on my head again! I knew something was really wrong as i couldn't move my right arm anymore.

I was sure i'd broken my back again but in the hospital they discovered that this time i'd broken my neck.

End of season...

i went wayyyyyy over a jump and pushed my heels through the muscle and skin. the cartilage was also messed up. i couldent walk for a while and it still hurts to land anything big. it happened with only about three weeks left so it wasnt that bad.

2 days ago i blew my knee out at park city and my season is prollay fucked but i saw tanner hall do a cork 7 20ft out of the pipe that day

last summer i tore my rotor cuff playing volleyball but i went mountain biking the next day and nothing bad happened

yeah i figured brah...but some guys think their invincable and they think they dont gotta listen to tha doctors....i was just kinda publically stating it
