End of cheap oil

theres not gonna be an oil crash for a very long time humans will just have to become more inventive in finding oil. for instance theres more oil in alberta's tar sands than all the oil in iraqand that has just begun to be exploited in the past few years. were not going to running out of oil we just need to be smarter.

looks like a doomsday site, end of this, end of that, beware, ect. Its true there is a shit load of

oil out there, just costs a little more to extract

offshore, But high oil prices do hurt the economy

oil go up = everything else goes up.

and a lot of people can not handle the extra costs, and get very grumpy

 
i remember reading that site a year or two ago, and i'm interested to see if it's predictions for 2005 will come true. at this point, i won't rule anything out.

I've read that and it is definitely interesting. However, you should be critical of the author--he's an extremist, a radical, and a typical doomsday Berkley nut job.

Just be happy we at Los Alamos National Laboratory are working hard to create a stable fusion device to power us into the future.

Yeah which is bad for us canadians, i guess the americans will come and invade because of their constant hunger for this stuff. Never the less, oil is still bad for us and the planet. Even if it is not our cars causing gobal warming, it does cause other pollutions. I think it is time we evolve to fuel cells, hydrogren, ethinol, and others. Or we could just keep killing our selfs, oil is like cigerettes.

I would say for the most part that Americans are as nice as any Canadians (I'm Canadian by the way). Alberta's oil sands are actually larger than Saudi Arabia's reserves, but due to limited technology, thee is no efficient way to extract the crude oil. Bio-diesel, derived from plant and animal fats is also on the market now. With these large oil supplies, organic fuels, and hydrogen technology being developed, we won't run out of oil anytime soon.

well, I hope we come up with something. A German company is trying to creat like a 600 foot tall wind turbine.

And if that is tru about oil in Canada, what ever company begins to drill and such, INVEST in them! Cauase Canada is about to be very wealthy.
