Emos, goths, metals, all you people i have a question!!

i seriously wonder sometimes... like this kid at my school wears green bondage everyday, and has green hair to his chin, but shave on the one side, and pushes it all to the side that isnt shaved. i call him Cnidarian.
 
its cuz when they wear tight gay jeans, eye makeup... and cut your self...it lets even the ugliest wiggers get laid.........................................................................................case closed
 
glad to see another hardcore fan on ns.. are you into youth crew and/or sXe hardcore as well or just hardcore punk like oi and stuff...
 
ugh I can relate... I would kill to be able to death growl or scream into a mike. also, I'm normal-looking.
 
yeah i like alot HXC straight edge stuff too one of my best friends plays in an HXC band and they rip. and i love punk hardcore and oi! soooo sick.
 
haha, yup! and everytime time i see this thread has come back i get a good laugh before opening it, than when i do i laugh more. I think most of you guys dident read the question. i was asking why thats all.
 
First of all, I have never heard the term "metals" before because we aren't any different socially and are just reffered to by our names. The only difference between me and a "normal kid" is that I might wear a black Six Feet Under shirt, and my friend "The normal kid" wears a black hockey jersey.

I would also like to point out that I am not a dick and I DO give a shit about myself. If I cut myself, It is on accident and it probably fucking hurt. You are incorrectly grouping metalheads and hardcore, depressed, emo's. Even then probably only 1 out of every 100 emos has actually ever cut themselves. That percent, the kind that go all out where the guys where skirts and mesh, I would definately consider weird.

But to adress the thread, people dress like they do, because they want to. It doesn't go much deeper than that. I like a band, that bands shirt's are black, I wear them. My friend likes fast cars, so he wears a lambo shirt. Maybe I should start calling people who like fast cars "Lambos" and then make fun of them for it anf ponder why it is that they drive so fast and possibly endanger themselves and others.

So to sum up, some people probably look weird, and they may be, but who cares. and once again EMO is not the same as METAL.
 
Also, I didn't read the two previous pages, but I'm sure It was already clarified that heavy metal and emo is way different so I guess I didn't have to.
 
Any member of any band is a better musician than the creator of this thread, actually listen to the music that you're talking about, and learn to appreciate music in general. Then and only then, create a thread expressing an opinion you have the experience and background knowledge to back up.
