if i got a dime for each instance i was called emo, well, let's just say that i'd have a lot of dimes. shit is so annoying. i don't cut myself, i don't want to die. neither do 99% of the people who dress like me. that's the same as me generalizing every baggy pant wearing 59-50 sporting dude a pot slinger or gang banger (although i'm sure you'd love to be mistaken as such). there's more to a book than just the cover. grow the fuck up.

they are trying to escape the average american kid stereotype. athletic, parents want them to get good grades, and in reality, when they become emo, they are just falling into a different stereotype. emos.
