Juliana Theory is probably my favorite ever.. Sense Field, Filter, Jimmy Eat World (Clarity album), collective soul, Travis, Radiohead, the Gloria Record.. if ur just talking about emo/emopunk stuff id have to say Juliana Theory is still top of the list.. Jimmy, the used, ultimate fakebook, just found Early November yesterday, very very good cd... indie/alternative genre would be rubyhorse, verve pipe (newest album), marvelous 3...

If you dont know who the Juliana Theory is.. check them out ...all three of their LPs are different..their sound has changed dramatically over the course of their lifespan. They are from PA not too far from where i live so i still consider them local.. Im glad they are off to bigger and better things, i hope that they go far.

Yeah I know The Juliana Theory I have 'Emotion Is dead' and its pretty good. If your into the hardcore/scremo stuff check out Dead Poetic, underoath (the changing of times) and Beloved. My faorite emo band is probably The early November they're sweet.

anyone ever heard of ghoti hook? used to be on the same label as mxpx, further seems forever and the juliana theory before they broke up this past summer

anyways, i noticed that they went from releasing pure punk to basically becoming sn emo band once they released their two years to never disc...thats the thing about bands, we can classify them all we want but they dont stay just in one genre of music, theyre not confined like that, they are artists and they change around all the time. so we can stay and argue about who is emo and who isnt, or we can realize that we should have other better things to do than classifying and confining bands, because even they themselves dont want to be classified and they dont care.
