Emo shows real pain? what getting dumped again by your chubby girlfriend cause your shirt is vintage enough for her or your pants arent tight enough? Emo isnt real pain, its about high school pain and sells to the little kids who feel that. Its the new grunge or goth. I have not heard any 'emo' song made in the past 5 years that illustrates real pain. Oh and to the kid said I was asking for it by having a straightedge icon...I really dont care. So what if a bunch of 16 year olds with a pot leaf as an icon say something. Plus I at 23 I have dedicated to it for life, its not a phase. And if any kids had a real issue with my display of it then they could say something to my face, but I doubt that would happen. I dont have a problem with what they do, so they shouldnt be bothered by my edgeness.

I like Planet Smashers (Ska) Taking back sunday(No label you know them) Dashboard (i dont care what it is, i like the guitar and the guy has voice and its relaxing) I like Beatles( ...) Deep Purple (amazing guitar) I like Moneen (saw them live, damn good show.) Astral Projection (Goa Trance) Holymen (Trance) Jurrassic 5 ( Hip hop I guess) Marley (its marley) Joshua Redman (jazz saxophone ) and I like the guys that got me into this music The Get Up Kids.

Now everyone here, should stop listening to their little secluded tastes and opening their minds and stop labeling shit and just find good music. In all genres there is good shit. I hate people that only listen to one type of music. Damnit, open your minds.

hey lizziebeth, I have seen moneen live, i saw them with Senses Fail, The Beautiful Mistake and Brand Nesw in seattle. It was funny i went to the bathroom right before they started playing and some guy was in there smoking pot. I went back out and moneen was up there asking if anyone had seen their bass player and to please tell him to come out and play. He comes out and hes like 'ya i had to go to the bathroom' and the singer says 'oh so thats what they're calling it now'
