first of all, Emo is the gayest mucis type ever.

Second of all, the genre title "emo" itself if bullshit. All music is emotional somehow, no matter what genre. They should change the name from emo, to "bitch's music."

No one cares what you all think, if you don't like emo, don't listen to it. Most of you can't even name one legitimate emo band, but go ahead and try to prove me wrong. The majority of you guys are just hopping on the "emo sucks" bandwagon, and have never heard any of the music at all anyways.

I know many people that hate emo. I know many people that like emo. Its all about personal taste. My feelings are that I really don't care. If somebody likes a type of music you detest, why is it your problem? You can't tell people what to like and dislike. There is both good and bad types of music (every genre included).

As for the people that attack a lifestyle that is associated with a type of music, that is bullshit. It just enhances flawed stereotypes anyway. Its the individuals choice to adopt a lifestyle. The idea of music is for enjoyment. If somebody enjoys a type of music, that's great.
