I agree with you that the common people shouldn't be held acountable for past events. However, being subjected to the American media and talking to many Americans at work I have gotten the impression that as a whole your culture is ignorant. Not saying Canada is any different. Part of your problem is your ego. September 11th was not completely about you. The WORLD.T.C. held people from all countries. Also what would be the point of killing 2 thousand innocent people? So several Islamics can please Allah?? Foo' please. The terrorists were prevoking you. Hoping you would bomb their country (as clinton did) and kill many innocent people thus taking support away from the pro-american governments. I'm impressed with the way Bush has handeled the situation. There is no simple solution to the problem. I would suggest to you that the Scandenavian countries are a model to follow. I honestly believe that a social democracy is the best possible form of government. The united states is dominated by corperations, so much so that political freedom is being compromised. I'm not suggesting the complete abolishment of capitalism, merely that it be controlled. By controlling capitalism the U.S. would be slightly less self serving and may not have the foreign intrest they have know. A social democracy would also provide sound social services and social netting, thus helping to close the gap between visual minorities and whites. Also I believe education is key to a healthy society and frankly what do you learn in school?? Communism is eveil, leftists are pinkos and the white man is always right. The works of Malcolm X and countless others have been continually and biastly discredited for generations. Without capital intrests I would hope that this could cease to exist. And don't say you dropped off food and that made it all better. Thats like me saying i raped you mom and then gave her a massage so it cancels out.

Here's another part of the problem, 'how are we suposed to protect ourselves'. Ever heard the old saying an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure? I would say develop a social conscience and you would find your problems may cease to exist. Also, although it may not be your fault that you 'kicked 'indians' off 'your' land' it is a part of your history and you need to except that. I know lots of people who hold Germans acountable. If your going to embrace parts of your history like the war of independence and Washington or whatever you need to accept it all. There still is a huge problem, again go look at the results of your census. These results suggest you just don't care or your still racist. Also you can talk about Islam being oppressive or whatever but I really don't think you know very much about it so don't talk. Not everyone shares the same values as you, and I don't think it's your place to critique a society that YOU don't UNDERSTAND. See waht I'm saying?

We did kick Indians off of their land, and for a long time we didnt regret it. Now we are giving land (reservations) back to the indians, and we are paying them money. If you are more then 50% (i think it's 50%) indian you get a check everymonth for like $500. I know this doesn't pay back for what we did to the Indians (take their land, and the Trail of Tears) but it does show that we are sorry. What the terrorists did to the U.S. was not OK. I think what they were trying to do (as C-lo said) is make us over react and then we would lose international support. I think Bush handled the sitsuation very well. I'm just rambling now....peace out

most the indians around me are ungreatful little shits i have some cool friends that are indians but most are freeloading little bastards, they have cause a lot of shit in my area, just to name on they killed a 12 year old boy for fliping them off. the 3 guys were all over 19. i have nothing against all indians but most in my area are not that good and for paying them back one thing they don't pay taxes, and they send them support checks ahhh our tax money is going to what our fathers fathers fathers fathers did.

Yes most of the natives I know are real bad too. It's not because their poor either. They all just got like 20 grand from the government and their parents have cushy casino jobs. The thing that kills me is they all went and but shitty chains with it.
