ya, he won an oscar over Chicago. kick ass! Chicago sucked. shouldn't have won so many oscars. a musical shouldn't be nominated on the same level as other movies. just like kidman should have won for moulan rouge last year, but not in a movie category. totally different acting, setup, mindset.

8 mile was not a movie deserving an oscar in any aspect it was a good movie that i liked however ask any true movie buff and they will most likely agree good movie but not oscar worthy, nonetheless it was kinda funny he did win
