Eminem Is the Greatest Rapper EVER!

i'm 16, and i can accurtaely say that jay z is some real pop shit right now. he hasnt made a good rap song in years. his last hit was just him talking while alicia keys did all the work on piano. wu tang actually kept it real, and they still do. they dont go fucking naming their kids after their albums like a bunch of stuck up cunts, and their music was kick ass. the best thing jay z did was the beef with 50 cent, and i mean the early 50 cent, back when 50 was still a street hustler. dude, how can you argue with notorious big, guru, wu tang, and the game? they are clearly the best rappers ever. not the most famous, but fuck it, they are the best.
 
RZA, GZA, method man, masta killah, inspectah deck, cappadonna, ghost face killah, odb, raekwon, U god. and red man, even though he wasnt technically with wu tang, he's in alot of their songs, especially with meth.
 
I've never liked Em, I hate his voice and all he writes about now is himself, never something substantial, his old lyrics were sick but I still hated his voice. Greatest Rapper =/= Best Rapper.
 
there is so much more to hip hop than all these people you are all naming like biggie pac wutang guru eminem and the game. i dont see where the game comes into this i personally think hes not the greatest. listen, biggie is my favorite rapper of all time so im not knocking these guys at all i love them all more than anything else in music. but you gotta listen to the groups (ik wutang is a group) like the pharcyde, tribe caled quest, group home, camp lo, souls of mischief, the roots, outkast (old outkast i mean) naughty by nature, NWA. also duos like mobb deep, people under the stairs, gangstarr(even tho u all know of them already) and theres other solo artists that are dope. like AZ. that mofucka is one of my favorites. and nas, no one mentions nas hes one of the illest to ever live. mos def is ill as fuck and people like this. theres more to rap than biggie pac wutang and eminem. i know i missed a lot of people/groups im just mentioning a few you all should listen to. RIP hip-hop. fuck lil wayne fuck drake FUCK rick ross and fuck nicki minaj. ymcmb and mmg are the 2 worst labels to ever happen
 
He is not the greatest rapper ever, thats for sure but with that said Recovery is my favorite album of all time. I could listen to every song on it over and over again. I would rather hear him rap about shit he has actually been through instead of say Rick Ross who raps about being a drug kingpin but in all reality he was a government paid corrections officer.

My 5 it might be generic but it is a personal top 5. There's a million rappers out there but I judge on a full body of work... I can listen to anyone of these rappers albums front to back.

eminem's music is pretty relatable to a suburban white kid. much more so than all other big time rappers.

Recovery has some stuff on there that, as cheesy as it sounds, helped me get through some shit in my life. I think that album is one of the best, front to back, albums of the decade.

I love his flow, the meaning of his lyrics, the beats, the hooks, and the vocabulary he employs.

his music is mood specific for me though eg. im not going to listen to it at a party, or while kickin, or while having a good time. But i can listen to every single song on The Eminem Show, and Recovery and love every second of it. I cannot say that about any other rap albums i have ever listened to.
 
I'm not even going to try to explain how stupid this sounds. The fact that you have never heard Del, let alone MF Doom, makes this argument so god damn invalid.
 
Isn't that nas from affirmative action or does that track open up with az. Not hating just wondering also that track is sooo good.
 
all you guys are silly. rick ross is the best!!!!!!!!!!!! his lyrics are so deep, his flow is unbelieveable, and he actually ent through what he raps about. he wasnt a prison guard, and definently didnt rip off ricky ross, a notorious L.A gangster. rick ross is real hard shit.
 
I listen to all of them, and not just their famous songs, and yes I think lyrically eminem IS better.
 
Yeah, AZ is solid but he doesn't crack my top 10, here's mine based of my preferences:

1.Guru (Both Solo and during Gang Starr)

2. RZA/GZA and the crew of Gravediggaz

3. Rakim

4. Nas

5. CL Smooth/ Big Daddy Kane/ Kool G Rap
