UpDawg, I just get annoyed when underinformed Stileproject-forum style 'aggro' writing actually tries to pass itself off as 'proper' writing because it's attached to some no-mark webzine. His point may be clear, you may find it agreeable, but it's still a stupid fucking point.

I mean UpDawg, if he won you over by his stupid caricaturing of Em fans as illiterate and his alignment of Clockwork Orange and Beethoven with 'smarts', you're a bit gullible eh? Or you want to believe him because he's a little bit like you. What if I caricatured people that always reference Clockwork Orange as nothing better than pseudy Tool fans that say things like 'drumsticks and skateboards are like....paintbrushes'. LesBains...I can see your point, and I respect it. It is a slippery slope, yes, but from my perspective, writing is writing- I don't classify it as 'proper' or 'aggro.' He wrote this, had a point, and I happened to enjoy the writing and agree with his view. From my standpoint, you're looking at it from the editor's standpoint, criticizing as if he were submitting it to a prestigious publication.

As for the thread: I do not like or dis like M&M but he is a genious(actually him and Dr. Dre...i believe they both equally contributated, I think Dre more or less got em's feet off the ground), he gave america exactly what they wanted and they ate that shit up and he got money like crazy from it. To support my hypothesis on him being a genious take for example 'my band' by d-12 that is no more than a bunch of ramblings about something or-other thrown together to make money and it has made money. I'm getting tired and forgeting what I was actually going to post about...so I'm going to peace out I hope you kind of understand what I was trying to say...in a nutshell...eminem has made his career off americas stupidty.

I'm not worked up - I usually just come for the vids and industry talk once in a while. Most of the ppl here are openly homophobic, casually racist, and the others think they're special for being functionally literate (at best). Like teenagers that think they're smart for not liking pop music. Easily the most backwards msg board I've seen in a while, but hey, it is a skiing board after all. I'll try to check in once in a while.
