Embedding Videos

How do you embed videos in threads? Is it anything like embedding images? I appreciate your help.

(I know this is probably a repost, and Im sorry. I searched for it in the searchbar, but nothing useful came up.)
 
Using the fancy GUI editor at the top of of the reply box. Click teh (F) thing that looks like the flash button because that is what it is. Then go to the site and grab the EMBED CODE. Youtube/Vimeo all have these. Then put that it and click okay. you will see a little video place holder and you can just click reply and it will be there
 
AWWWW! I love that vid dude! Pep and Andy can slay! I wish my friend would by the Hellbents in our shop for $450. He thinks you can't use them in anything but 3ft+ of pow. I tell him otherwise but he is retarded. His Mom thinks any ski over 90mm will be too dangerous on groomers. What a gaper family! I would buy them but I'm broke.

Yes - but we disabled this feature while trying to resolve the IE script error. IE released an update that caused all sorts of scripting problems, and in order to support our IE users it was one of the things we had to disable for the time being.

 
ah...that sucks

Can we just ban the noobs that use IE, revert back to the old system, and call it a day? :P
 
i just tried posting a vid in a different thread by copying and pasting the embed code, but it didnt work. therefore, im trying again:

 
^wtf mate? what am i doing wrong? im just copying and pasting the embed code from youtube. help please?
 
press the little flash button above^^ its the button with the f the paste the embed code in there. if that is what you are doing then i dont know what else to tell ya, you cant just paste it in the message tho
 
you used to be able to before that IE script problem happened..hopefully it will work again soon
 
looks like embeding via the fancy editor and without the fancy editor is back working...woo!
