can we embed videos in posts using the script given from youtube??

no, just have to link it up. But NS should make embed src available as long as they mass disable autoplay, cause that shit is just obnoxious...

bump...was wondering if anyone knew about this....when are we gonna be able to embed youtube videos into posts in the forums, so that you dont have to actually have to go to youtube and watch the video posted...a bit like the videos are posted in the blogs, or how pics can be seen in forums

It's something we are looking at adding in the future. There are just other priorities right now

The next best thing if you have the embed script is that you can embed videos in the Video forum and then link to that page like this.

Don't fret guys, the ability to embed flash videos into your forum posts is on the chopping block right now. It would have been finished sooner, but when Paul started to try and fix that one he uncovered a couple of other problems (like this nice editor not working in IE) that he has fixed. So the editor actually should be working in IE later today!

The embedding of flash video is the next task on hand, so hopefully if all goes well Paul should have it functioning in less than a week!
