Embarrasing moments on the hill

NO THIS ONE IS FUCKING GREAT, last year two friends and i were one lift nine which is a 3 person lift w/ out a safety bar or anything, and i was wearing a camel back and i had stashed a few cigars and dJarums in there and so i took my camel back off and got those out and smoked them, well as it goes i rebuckled my camel back to myself and yeah talked for a while and shit, and then it was time to get off of the lift, well the lift is ghetto and swings around real fast when it gets done unloading, but yeah so my friends stand up and ski away and i stand up but i realize that as i stood up something was pullin me back, i had time to say, guys hold on, but right after that i was immedialty dragged around and was all the sudden floating in the air, well there was one of those orange plastic fences that guarded people from getting too close to the lift, while i plowed that over and shit and finally the dude stopped the lift and i was fucking 10 feet off the ground and finally fell, as it turns out i had strapped my camel back around the chairlift and attached it to me so i was like strapped to the chairlift, this was in front of everyone, and nine is a steep lift so yeah i got tossed around the lift station, took down a fence, and fell 10 feet to the ground, i dont know how i was able to slip out of my camel back...
 
^ this was right after we had been yelling and shit on the chairlift so people were irrated at us and when they saw me get fucked my the lift they had shitty grins on their face, couldnt get more ebarrassing.
 
Ok you hate on niggers and stoners and then get hated on by this entire website. By the way, maybe you weren't aware, but you just talked shit to one of the steeziest skiers in the industry.
 
Once, riding up the lift i was doing your standard super tweaked tail grab when I hear my mom yell from the chalet, "Yeah, you can only grab like that on the lift..." Pretty sure I got burned by my mom...and it sucks being a 21 year old guy being punked by his mom
 
i too suffered at the hand of a chairlift.

like the guy a few above me i decided i would let the seat push me from the boots for a secod... but when i went to sit down the chair was really wet and i slid off and fell like 3 feet straight inot a big fuckin pile of ice.

total faceplat.

it must have looked pretty gnarly because everyone made that scared gasping noise...

the lifties wanted to call ski patrol, thought i had a concussion, but i was okay.

i have never taken high speed quads lightly since though, loading for me is serious fucking business.
 
last weekend, i went skiing with some friends, and i had to borrow some shitty skinny skis cause im in austria and my skis are in the US, and they sucked in powder... well anyways, i was going down the hill, and saw a little roll, so i decided to just go over it, but what i didn´t see was the river on the other side of the roll, so i went flying into the river ejected out of my skis and flew onto the other side
 
I fell right in front of plake when fooling around dlat ground but what was worse it was when they were filing for rsn so worse they played the clip about a week later and you see me taking a digger in the background
 
i got of the lift and i saw this little tree that would be perfect for a nut massage. so i went ver to it and skied over it. but the top of it was really sharp so it riped my pants and i got this huge cut on my thigh.
 
i work at my local hill and one morning me and my two bubbides are groomming the rails and shit. we finish so we decide to take some runs on the hits before the general public get there. Wasnt thinking anything about it, going up to my favorite jump, relize they for once actually reshaped the jump, hit it with waaaay to much speed, pull a dumont. I was parrell with the snow in midair, about to land on my head i throw mr arms out land, and im like its all good. so i keep skiing. 30 mins later my wrist is swollen like a motherfucker, ski patrol says its prolly nothing, but i should get some xrays. i go into the ski instructors lounge, they all see me in a sling and are like "what did you do?" "I broke my arm first run out." they all laughed at me. ended up being broken in 4 spots on my arm. Fucking ski patrol.
 
One time in ski lessons when I was 6 or seven I kicked my skis together so hard they popped off on the lift, and when I got to the top, I forgot where I lost it, so the instructor spent 2 hours searching for my ski while the class waited at the top.
 
this one moment actually happened inside the lodge, the lodge has stone steps inside connecting the ground floor and second floor, im going down the stair, they are wet from snow, got halfway down, turned the corner on the little landing pad to go down the other half of the stairs (about 8 stairs), slipped and fell down teh rest of the stairs right infront of renters, and everyone one else on the ground floor
 
i was at this one hill first day skiing....i learned rails last year and only had about a week of hitting rails....so i decided that maybe i could do a 270 on...well it was a barn box first 4 trys i was really close and it was the only hill open so everyone was watching and i was the only skier who could actually do rails not just boxes so skiers were impressed well 5th try i come up thinking ok just relax and nail it well i ski up and only do a 180 and im like fuck o well i just land backwards and ski off the rail well my feet were to far part and did the splits on the rail and just flipped over onto my head and like 20 people at the bottem of the lift just started to laugh it sucked everyone was watching even on the lift right next to the rail probably 100 people saw me mess it up that sucked
 
competing in a superpipe comp....well at the end of the pipe where the deck slopes down i had been doing little 180's onto it all week...i'm notorious for hurting myself during warmup runs so i didn't take one...took my first competing run through the pipe, got to the bottom where it turns out they had set up a large green fence...took the fence out and a couple people...the news crew was right there and of course they played that on the comp highlights.
 
alright one day i was foolingaround with my friend on a little rainbow. i decided to try to gap it. while i was in the air my front tips caught the rail cuz i didnt jump enough i ended up having a huge yard sale and thei was right below the most used lift at mount snow
 
I crashed a zero in Åre, sweden when I was doing lines with Sammy Carlson and Jon Olsson. My binding broke and the ski ripped my back. that was embarrasing. Very embarrasing.
 
There is a hill around me that every year has skiing night skiing till 4 a.m. on a couple weekends...well they close the slopes down at 10 and then reopen a half hour later...so I am carrying my skis over a foot bridge and am walking pretty fast in buckled ski boots.....I plant my right heel and it slips out from under me due to some ice and I fall flat on my back...hard...my skis had flew out of my hands into the air and they proceed to land on top of me after I hit the ground...everyone was watching...and laughing...it kind of hurt

since this kind of stuff happens to me at least everyday, it real key is to just laugh it off. if you get up and start yelling and throwing shit, you look like a faggot. i laugh a lot.
 
after starting my skis got caught underneath the chair lift as we got off and got stapped off my boot, so they had to stop the chairlifdt so the guy behind us could carry em' up, when we got up i started riding and snow was getting sprayed up in my face from under the ski... i looked under and my ski was cracked on the base...that suxed more then embarresed me
 
Breaking my collarbone within the first 2 hours on my first day of the season, 2 seasons ago.

Fucking SKILLS on that shit.
 
last winter at blue hills i had just got on the lift, and there was this mound of snow a few feet after the loading dock place, and so the chair swung as me and my friend got on, and the ski got caught under the snow and poped off. the kids behind us tried to grab it, but they couldn't, and for some reason the liftie never sent it up with anyone, so I had to ski down with one ski. then when i got to the bottom, the guy told me he had just sent it up with someone, so I rode up with one ski. it was embarrarsing until another kid on my team lost his ski too. then it was just funny.

and once I was skiing up at Burke with my 2 friends who dont ski much, and we had just gotten there and were going inside, so we leaned our skis against this fence. well, my friend put her skis against it and the wind gusted, and knocked hers over, then knocked over 50 skis all leaned up against the fence too (like dominos). the best part, was at the end of the fence, was this french family, and this little kid said something in french, then his older brother said 'you've got to be kidding me' at us. my friend scrambled to pick a couple pairs up, but it was pretty much useless because so many had fell over. she was so embarrarsed the rest of the day, because she thought everyone saw her
 
When i get on the lift, i just have this habit of tapping my ski tips on the ground in front of me while im sitting. SO one time, when there was a bunch of fresh snow, i did it, my skis went straight into it, and i couldn't get them out cuz it was icy, and long story short, i got dragged off the lift, accidently taking a friend with me. There was a big lift line too.

me: totally fucks up. slides rail with like negative style and extreme sketch. barely rides off. curse my mother for bearing me.

her: spins onto rail, slides it perfect, spins off. rides away switch, presumably to get naked with other hot skier chicks while laughing at me.

me: talking about this hot chick i'd been skiing with all week

evil friend: makes up story about me hooking up with her in her parent's hottub

other guy on lift: is her angry older brother

i had to go to this shitty ski place called sundown for my work one time, and they had a super sketch 1/4 pipe. no one could get out of it all day because there was not enough speed to be had no matter what. i eventually skated into it from like 100yards higher than you were supposed to, popped as hard as i could. i went up, spun, and completely missed the transition. i managed to land out in the flats with my face and tips hitting at the same time. broken nose. i guess i popped hard enough out (opposed to up) to push off the lip hard enough to miss any semblance of a landing.
