Embarrasing moments in front of celebs

I watched chug sign my friend jacks ass at the triple threat tour for revolver at the pre premier party at evo and then me and my friend ate tacos with him and Tj right down the block and then Johnny descesare and tyler hamlet along with charley ager sat down with us
CLAIM

ya they arent as famous as brad pitt or david beckham, but to say they arent more famous than me or you is just straight stupid. Famous: Someone who is well or widely known. Having a widespread reputation. You just said pro skiers aren't more well known as me and you... i really didnt wanna get into semantics like this, im just sayin

Rode the chairlift down with chug and colby one day at summer camp...

Chug was on his blackberry the whole time, being super awkward.

Never really been in other situations with real celebs

When i was 4 i literally ran head on into Bruce Willis's legs. he just patted me on the head and walked away

I don't get why you kids think pro skiers are celebrities, they're just normal people who happen to be really good at skiing.

On another note, George Bush Sr. comes to the restaurant that I work at in the summer, and now that hes really old he can't walk that well. One night he came in and the girl that was his waitress helped him walk to the door, and he intentionally grabbed her ass on the way out. So funny

But what it boils down to is they aren't any more famous then you or I. I could say my friend that is a DJ in Scranton PA is famous because he spins at 3 of the biggest bars in North Easter PA. He has thousands of folllowers on facebook, but he is on the same level as these athletes. None of them are famous....

We obviously have different interpretations of fame. To me fame isn't a couple thousands kids knowing who you are. For you it is. Whatever everyone has different opinions on shit.

this kid at my lakehouse's mom is really famous in England. she is like a governmnt person. like 20 years ago when she was coming to the U.S. she was shown the city she came to by a man. She told us that everyone was saying hi to him while they were together and she started to think he was famous. at the end of the WHOLE DAY they spent together she asked who he was. Michael Jordan

thats what im trying to tell you, im not arguing that theyre fuckin celebrities, i agree with you that they arent, but they are closer to being famous than you or i are, which you keep denying, thats what im trying to tell you

i saw marrisa miller and tried to say hi, but i choked on my tongue cause shes so beautiful and some weird noise came out....embarrassing.

so yeah this one time on vacation with the family. it was new years eve and bam look beside us its ellen degeneres and her wife, and i got the loudest hiccups ever. they lol'd and yup thats it.

yo, can you sing a piece of paper, scan it, and then send it to me so i can get it framed and talk about it at my next party please?

aside from that i've never really interacted with 'celebrities' i have nothing to really say to them that they haven't heard before.

Shane Carwin works out with us at my school and he was on the rack right next to ours and my roommate and i were joking around while we were stretching and he says "Im going to fight that guy' (pointing at shane) and he just stares him down the rest of the time we were in there. i thought it was hilarious my roommate was freaking out. not embarrassing just funny.

watching simon practice in th pipe for dew tour, he came over to me and apologized for not doing anything too sick then proceded to throw a dub on his next hit. then he looked at me with a huge grin haha

I'm getting pretty sick of people saying this. Saying that they are ordinary people that are good at skiing is almost an insult. In this industry, they are the celebrities, maybe not on a grand scale like athlete's and actors, but they are still a celebrity. To me, I would be 10X more stoked to meet any of the big names of the sport, I have met a bunch of them and I appreciate meeting them much more than some hollywood dumbass.

Two seasons ago my friend tristen (snowboarder then, but a skier now) was at the top of the super park at bachy on pine( big jump in "Everyday Is A Saturday) and saw a guy at the top (simon dumont) goes up to and says "Are you the real Simon?!?!?!?" and simon just ignores him and rides away!

im with you

i bumped into julia stiles on the street in nyc and almost knocked her over. she looked at me and said "what the fuck dude"

chillin in the gatorade cabin on my friends laptop fooling around on omegle with like 6 other guys around me. Andy parry walks in says "Chatrouletten? betya see alot of johnsons on that. rips ass and walks out

you could make the same argument for anyone.

actors: normal people who are good at acting

bill gates: normal person with good ideas and the brain to make them happen

runners: normal people who are just really fast

and so on

And I don't mean to double post, but if a normal person that is good at skiing isn't a celebrity, then a normal person who is good at acting, football, basketball, politics, and everything else isn't a celebrity either.
So please, enlighten me to what a celebrity truly is.

im not sure if you're trying to be funny, but by your definition all the people mentioned in this thread are celebrities in the freeskiing community. to skiers they are all well known and famous...

by my standards, anyone who makes sponsored movies, is in magazines, has facebook followings if they must, pro model jackets, bindings, poles, boots, or skis, what have you. is pretty CELEBRATED therefore is a celebrity, because they're famous, because thousands if not millions know them, follow them, and celebrate their involvement in the progression, advancement, medal winnings what have yous. companies throw money at them. some of them live in shiny houses, and drive shiny cars...

a celebrity is necessarily a multi millionaire. we don't even know half of the richest people on the planet. a celebrity is someone well known. get over it.

about four years ago i got interviewed by cabbie on the street from the score for flag football nationals and i was super awkward. before the interview he told me he wasnt gonna ask me any questions i was just gonna be in the shot and then he started askin me a bunch of questions i was pretty choked. i'll try and find the video

i met hitler and shat on his face.I then proceeded to wipe with his "I hate jew guys' pin on his shirt. Painfull but worth it

i saw snooki from the jersey shore at a chilis this one time...i went up to her, hoping for a smush, and asked for a picture with her and got completely denied...what a dumb bitch...

i met warren miller in aspen sitting in a bar once and i walked in to have hot chocolate hes a funny guy (it was when i was 13)ive meet bobby brown a few times at breck and dumont once or twice at keystone. nothing realy intresting with them.
for a less important note i have met and skiied with ted ligity and bodie miller i thought bodie was kind of full of him self.
i also saw megan fox in cali, shes soooo hot

My cousin in Maine claims to have a friend who always drinks with bode when he is training at sugarload. evidently dude is funny as hell when you get to know him

I once took a piss beside the drummer from Black Sabboth, i was starring at him while i was pissing (cause i mean holy schiz) and when he noteced he got a puzzled look on his face, as if he was deciding what to do with the situation. Him being slightly bozzed himself, decided to go with "whats up dude". I responded with, "oh hey man". Felt like quite the douche.
